Used to be a decent club, now there an absolute shambles. A manager resigns and theres a players revolution against the chairman, which has lead the club into a crisis.

Its pretty obvious that O'Leary will have had a say in the "players" statement about the chairman, or else I doubt he would have resigned.

In a way I feel sorry for Villa fans as the manager hardly has any funds to buy players so they have to get players on frees most of the time.

They are one of the biggest clubs yet Ellis has RUINED them, if they get rid of him (not sure if he'll EVER step down) then hopefully the next manager after he goes will get money and their training facilites will get updated to be where they should be.
They have had money to spend but they've wasted it all on big name strikers that have never done that much. I mean, something like £8m for Bosko Balaban? "Who?" you ask. Exactly...

Aston Villa will be near the bottom, but I doubt they'll get releaged although they need to sign some decent players quickly.

A lot of people are tipping Fulham to go down, but if they cash in on Malbraunqe and get a good amount of money for him then it would enable Coleman to sign a decent replacement. They've signed Bullard who is a good player, and they've got some other good players but i'm not sure whether they'll go down this year.

Considering they've sacked O'Leary and how basically NO ONE wants to manage them now I agree that will go down this season. -_-
Gregory? Do they remember the last time? and Sven would involve SPENDING MONEY and that's just paying the manager.

I read something the other day and the Villa fans' choice of manager was either Sven or John Gregory  Do they WANT to go down?

They'd both be awful choices for managers IMO. If Sven came then  that would be funny, as I can imagine Villa been in an even worse state than they are in now.

I've just seen that Martin O'Neill will be their new manager if this consortium takes over from Ellis apparently :o

I think Fulham are more likely...

I don't see it somehow, they have strengthened their team with a few signings including Jimmy Bullard who will surely add to the team spirit

Neville has now tabled an offer for Villa which matches Villa's chairman's valuation of the club, but personally I still want Randy Lerner to table a bif for Villa and have it accpeted just because of his name.
