November 21, 201014 yr I think the reason X has higher sales is A) because they released it in a high sales period and managed to capitalise on that, and B ) Sales are generally lower now for albums. It got decent sales to begin with but they're not doing great at keeping it afloat at the high sales point of the year, which I was hoping they would. Edited November 21, 201014 yr by Silver Rocket

November 21, 201014 yr Author The itv show where kylie sang old songs and new songs from X i think definitly helped sales of the album, fever, and body language also got the same style promo but aphrodite didnt. I also think if the release dates for aphrodite and all the lovers was the same as 2 hearts and X they would have sold better although all the lovers may possibly have not have as it has sold very well in the era it was.

November 22, 201014 yr Author I didnt see as well recieved either and i would als say all the lovers was far better recieved by both non kylie fans and core kylie fans.

November 22, 201014 yr As other people have commented, album sales have dropped in the last few years since X and X was released during the busy peak season period when sales are highest. I still hope Aphrodite has got a bit of mileage left cos its by far a much superior album anyday.
November 23, 201014 yr Author I think better than today will add some milage to the album and if a 4th single is released it will do the same, in addition if the re issue rumours are rue they will def add sales to the album along with the tour. I cant see the re issue coming in 2010 so i think to do it (if its gona be done) should coincide with the tour and a new single.
