A bit of an over-reaction. 'Born This Way' has already done better than 'Hold It Against Me' over here, and it's still in the top 10, it's not slipping to top 60 like HIAM did.

(and Britney fans, don't attack me, I love them both).

No Btw has done amazing with no video and promo! but we need big promo and video for a number 1

Does it need to go to number 1? It's selling rather well :D

That's what I was saying, it hasn't done anywhere near as bad as HIAM had done before it's release.

Hey everyone I'm new here!!! I thought you might find this interesting!! I really can't wait for the video(s) now, and this stripped down version of BTW is getting me excited!!! :yahoo:

Here is the article:

Lady Gaga has announced that she will put out two music videos for her newest single “Born This Way.” The first video is set to premiere online on February 28th while the second clip will be released to iTunes later. A stripped-down version of the song, which is used in the extra video, will also be available for purchase. Money raised from downloads will go to charity.

The article is from gaga daily but I can't post links as I'm new. <_<

Classical cover by Australian group Aston, an act who have also covered Britney, Rihanna and others before, always amazing;

This bitch grew on me from 4/10 to 9/10.

That version is stunning! :o

Thanks for posting that, and welcome to the forum. :)

That's VERY clever releasing a stripped-down version as well, should hopefully help it get a higher position in countries where it's starting to fall...

Not really. They have much better ones.
'Born This Way' is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week, making it the first song since 2003 to hold the position after a number one debut. It's sold 957,000 downloads in the US so far. :D

Also, she will be releasing two videos for Born This Way on monday. The second video will feature the stripped down version of the song, which will also be released on iTunes, the proceeds of which will go to charity.

Blasting into the No.1 spot and picking up a Gold certification first week (35,000+ units) is Lady GaGa's new single "Born This Way", and this is after only six days of download sales. The track debuted at No.3 in the UK after one day of sales, and blasted into the No.1 spot in the US, helped also by her performance of the track at the Grammy Awards last weekend and her media blitzing.

This is GaGa's third No.1 single in Australia after "Just Dance"(1 wk, 15-Sep-08) and "Poker Face" (8 broken weeks from 17-Nov-2008), plus it's the lead and title track from her forthcoming third album due in late May. This new debut and Grammy wins this past week also helps her previous two albums to jump up the charts this week, with "The Fame Monster" jumping fifty-one places to No.48, and the first set "The Fame" re-enters at No.84.

Plus, she debuts at #2 in Germany.

I have to say when i first heard born this way and for a few listens after that i liked it but didnt think it was anything special, but i love it now especially the live performance at the grammys really sold it for me, its grown on me so much since and i love it now, its not as good as poker face or bad romance but they will always be very hard to top.
