It depends on whether you begrudge her for that fact, to be honest I think it's suitably different from Express Yourself despite the clear influence. She clearly didn't think people wouldn't notice, or that she would get away from it - it's Madonna. It's harking back to the 80s and if you wanted to say it copied any song it would be this one

but again I think it's inspiration for a 00s version of that club classic and that Madonna empowerment song rather than a rip off. Or maybe I'm very naive, who knows.

Anyways I like the performance. Wish some of her fans could get it together though. Especially when Britney just complimented the woman last week. Damn.

srsly I like GaGa, but by what I saw earlier (and I'm watching it on TV not on lq webcast) I was not impressed at all.

Really liked it! Very simple for her but it worked. The vocals were flawless and it's actually made me like the song a lot more. By the time the video comes I'll love it (hopefully. :lol:)

It seemed a bit underwhelming, but I really liked the simplicity of it tbh! Away from all the lights, smoke, etc. you could really tell that vocally she is excellent, plus I never knew what a great dancer she was! T'was a nice performance!

Agreed! When it finished I was a bit underwhelmed that nothing 'crazy' happened but after re-watching on Youtube I really loved it. Just her singing really well and putting on a good, fun performance. Suits the song to a tee really.
