The audience doesn't sound too thrilled, lol!!

I love the images in the background though...total old-school!!!

It's a bit weird to see that kind of background at Robbie's concerts, isn't it? and to see him moving like that while rapping....
:o Best Robbie song ever! Biggest selling single of the year written all over it :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
what are those dancers doing!!!!!!

Some 'comments' on Rudebox from Popjustice.

Notes on the new Robbie Williams single

Monday, 24 July 2006

It is very good.

It is very stupid.

Robbie has clearly lost the plot.

Robbie has clearly found a completely different plot all together, meaning that his loss of the initial plot is neither 'here' nor 'there'.

The single's 'viral marketing thing' didn't really work properly because everyone knew it was by Robbie Williams.

You won't be surprised if, ten days from now, Robbie reveals that the song is just something he knocked out in twenty minutes and that OF COURSE it's not the new single because the real new single is something which sounds like Queen.

We hope he doesn't do that because Robbie Doing Something Interesting And A Bit Different is always preferable to Robbie Doing The Usual.

Nice use of the word 'jacksie', as in 'bottom'.

Er...

  (kind of)

Luciano and thisispop do you seriously like it..I hope you are not being sarcastic :(

I really hope you do like it. And can you please buy it when it comes out...I think we are going to need all the help we can get going by initial reaction

Those comments you posted Jupiter aren't all bad...are they

Well surprise surprise.

I can't see any of our E-Mails here. Strange that....

From Bizarre Vicky's page again. Here are the 'public's' reaction to Rudebox. Oh dear. Very balanced as I'd expect.

ROBBIE Williams' new single Rudebox has caused a stir among pop fans.

Victoria Newton, our Bizarre Editor, declared it "the worst record that I have ever heard".

Yesterday we asked you what you thought and many of you think Victoria's verdict is spot on.

However Robbie's die-hard fans have defended his new release.

Below are a selection of your emails and they're sure to give Robbie a shock.

I just heard the new Robbie Williams song and I'm still in shock that he actually thought it was good enough to record. It's one of the worst songs I have heard in my life. I felt like ripping out my eardrums and throwing them at the radio. I think Robbie has lost his touch.

How the hell can us Robbie fans sing along to that!

Very disappointing!

I am not a fan of Robbie Williams normally but this tune is fantastic. It’s bit odd on first listen but still a cracking tune!

There is definitely no c in this rap!

I heard the New Robbie Williams track on Saturday on our local radio Station GWR.

To say the least the DJ on the station thought it was rubbish, I was not impressed either.

He sounded like a bad impression of Eminem! It’s proper karaoke stuff!

Biggest pile of rubbish I've ever heard! A complete joke. Robbie has been going downhill since he parted company with Guy Chambers but this is just rock bottom.

I think Oasis should give him back the wreath he gave them a few years ago. Robbie Williams RIP.

It has immature lyrics and Robbie cannot rap - whatever he may think. His rap style is reminiscent of John Barnes on England’s World Cup song in 1990. At least John wasn’t a singer so he could be forgiven for his efforts.

The Robbie diehards will buy it and say it is great, but it is dreadful.

If Rudebox was recorded by anyone else, it wouldn’t get played or bought.

That Rudebox song is c**p, and has the most random lyrics ''TK Maxx costs less, Jackson looks a mess''. It sounds like something a child has come up with. It is so bad it’s hilarious to listen to!

I’ve heard Rudebox a couple of times and the first time I was a little unsure. I think this is one of those songs that needs a couple of listens! I actually quite like it now.

GRRRRR This is so disheartening.

I really want this to be a success for him....I can't bare for him to fail

Now Im really looking forward to bouncin at MK :bounce: but I most certainly am noooooooooo t gonna do that dance :o

I happen to like Rudebox, most of all it makes me

I think it's really sad what's going on in the media right now, this is becoming a real campaign against Rob.

Of course I sent my email in yesterday and even if I didn`t like Rudebox, I would have written in just to support Rob, because I think they have no right to treat him that way, just because over one bad song.

I'm sure you are right in saying that VN's report is very unbalanced and that she mainly chose negative emails, but still it's disappointing that many fans made poisonous comments just like her. That's what upsets me the most, I could deal with the press being negative as long as the fans were 100% behind Rob, but apparently this isn't the case. :(

I think it's a song people will either totally love or totally detest.

And the 'general public' are always more likely to E-Mail papers about stuff they detest than about stuff they love. Maybe there's still hope out there.

And I think we should all remember that the Blessed Newt can spin this whichever way she wants. If she received 100 'We love Rudebox' e-Mails and 10 'We Hate Rudebox' e-Mails she can print all 10 'hate' ones and nobody will ever be the wiser.

The lady has an Agenda.

The lady has an Agenda.

Exactly. That's what I find so unnerving. :puke2:

Gosh, wouldn't it be great if, through some kind of miracle, Rudebox turned out to be a huge hit...?

That would shut Vicky up and the rest of the lot. I guess it would really take a miracle for that to happen..

I really don't find it easy to be hopeful right now. :(
