As we're going into 2011, lots of new acts are emerging and one of them is these girls. They are Little Nikki, Izzy B and Olivia. I think some of their stuf has been floating around for a bit, and Popjustice have championed them for a while, but this is their proper debut single:

they opened for Pixie Lott when i saw her thursday, werent bad but dont think they are ready to go big yet...there dancing and styling were a bit mediocre, good voices though

Yeah soundgirl were good, awful dancing though.. there routines looked like a 12 year old put together.

I've been listening to their song a lot recently. I really like it and hope they do well. They seem different too compared to the likes of Parade, The Saturdays etc..

The song is decent and indeed the highlight of all these new girlband songs. But I think they should re-name themselves. :lol: For me 'Soundgirl' is the name of one hit wonder group at very best. I know the songs colour the name and not vice versa but still.

It's had a few plays on Radio 1 already. Fearne Cotton seems to be supporting it

 

 

My only problem with the name is it needs an 's' on the end, theres 3 of them not 1.

I quite like this song, I was watching an interview by them on youtube though and I'm not sure if it was just they were shy, but they came across a bit 'stuck up' to me.

Oh I'd forgotten this still needs releasing. Going to bomb of course, since the little hype there was around them a few months back has now completly died down but it remains my favourite of the otherwise p***-poor selection of debut girlband singles.

Such a good song! hope it gets top 40.

I thought I heard that somewhere a bit ago but then someone on DS they read it was official? Well, I guess it makes more sense for it to be a buzz single as it's being offered for free!

If it's a buzz single then they've made a clever move.

Love this so much, only just got into it really! So much better than Parade, Wonderland, Beach Girl5 etc.

I do really like this in studio form, but they weren't that good live last night when I saw them, and the rest of the crowd didn't seem that impressed. Maybe it's because they're new, and just getting used to it? Their other songs didn't seem to be up to the same standard, but maybe it just seemed that way because of the bad performance :(

Jack how was Justin Bieber? When i seen them at pixie i thought they were really good. Is willow smith brilliant live?

 

I got the song on free download.

Willow Smith was fantastic. The crowd seemed to love her, making 'W' signs with their hands. Really loved her '21st Century Girl' performance and she seems to have lots of confidence for a girl her age to perform in front of such a big crowd.

 

I struggled to understand what SoundGirl were saying, so it's harder to tell if the songs were up to much.

I think sound girl are the strongest of the new girl bands and love their new track.. why are they giving it away for free surly this would chart?

What's going on with this group at the moment? Things seem to have gone to standstill.
