Posted December 13, 201014 yr Hi Everyone. I dont know if you of you may remember me but i use to run a prediction game on Radio 1 messageboards & ChCMedia. Since ChCmedia ceased i stopped doing it as it takes alot of work and lost alot of contacted members but have seen recently that a few of them are on here! :) So... what is it i plan to do? Well... XFactorBoi's Singles Chart Predictor Game Starting every Sunday through to Saturday each week you are to guess what the top 10 will be. For example: 01. Matt Cardle - When We Collide 02. Rihanna & Drake - Whats My Name 03. Trashmen - Surfin' bird 04. Ellie Goulding - Your Song 05. Willow - Whip My Hair 06. Black Eyed Peas - Dirty Bit 07. Biffy Clyro - Many of Horrors 08. Michael jackson - Holding Hands 09. Take That - The Flood 10. Rihanna - Only Girl For each prediction you get right you shall get ten points. For each prediction you get wrong - pending on how many you are away one point is deducted for each position. For example: Using my pretend prediction above; Trashmens correct position is #2 instead of #3 that is -1point, Rihanna is actually #3 not #2 and Michael Jackson was actually #12 that would be -4 points etc. All other predictions are correct. This would give me my total score of -6 for the ones i got wrong. for the ones i got right i recieve +70 points. Giving my grnad total of +66. The highest score you can get each week is +130 points. The lowest score you can get each week is -400 points. If you predict a single in the top ten that doesnt enter the Official Top 40, an automatic -40 points is deducted. If all of your predictions are correct then you get 100 points. Its that simple. BONUS POINTS! Of course using Music Week, physical and download releases and itunes chart it can be sometimes be quite easy to predict. So there is a bonus scheme. If you make your prediction between 00:01 Sunday & 0900 Monday you recieve an automatic +30 bonus points If you make your prediction between 09:01 Monday & 09:00 Tuesday you recieve an automatic +20 bonus points If you make your prediction between 09:01 Tuesday & 09:00 Wednesday you recieve an automatic +10 bonus points If you make your prediction between 09:01 Wednesday & 09:00 Thursdady you recieve NO bonus points Additional bonus questions will be added from week to week so do look out for them! THE RULES; 1. Once your prediction has been entered, I shall make a note of the prediction and you must not amend your prediction. If you are seen to amend your prediction you will be deducted 40 points. 2. ALL predictions must be done by 09:00 every Thursday morning. If you make a prediction after this time, it will not be counted. 3. You may use any resources you like to make up your prediction. Music Week, releases, itunes chart, midweek details, word of mouth! 4. You dont have to enter every week. If you forget of miss a week, just join in again the next week. Of course, the more weeks you enter the more chance you have of topping the leaderboard at the end of year chart! 5. Newcomers can join the game at any point in the year. 5. Every week i shall post your score results on this board along with a leaderboard. 6. whoever is at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the year, wins! 7. Final week will be 26th December 2011 preparing for the final results on the 1st January 2012 If you would like to take part of have any questions please leave a comment below and ill be happy to answer. December 13, 201014 yr Author There is already a game like this running each week really? which game is this? I made this game almost 4 years ago and was used frequently until ChCmedia closed down. I hope no-ones used my idea! :(

I hope no-ones used my idea! :( Erm... no, but I could maybe ask you the same... (It was a bit evil to have such thoughts btw) I run it for 3-4 years, before that I ran a similar game on UKmix. I've never been a member of chc. I run it for years, check the pinned thread.

I run it for years, check the pinned thread. Hmmm maybe we just have great minds! lol. i only joined this in January after a fair few talking about it. I start on BBC Radio1 messageboards, moved to ChCMedia as they shut theres down and them converted to buzzjack after Chcmedia collapsed. Ive never used UKmix (what is that?!?)
