December 16, 201014 yr Author Chart Commentary We have a new number one on The Martyn Singles Chart this week. Another Swede is at number one this week, Ola debuts at number 1 with All Over the World, the latest release from third album “Ola”. All Over the World knocks his fellow countryman’s Eric Saade’s It’s Gonna Rain down a place to number 2. There are some big rises and falls this week as Christmas approaches. Nicole Scherzinger and Rihanna last weeks #2 and #3 plummet to #15 and #17 respectively. Cheryl Cole suffers a bad week though as new single The Flood drops out the Top 40, and Promise This drops from 16 to 29. Victoria Justice is the second highest new entry this week in at 9 with Make It Shine, overused in an advert for Nickelodeon for a show I have never seen. Christmas songs are over taking the charts this week, with new entries for Girls Aloud (#36), Ashley Tisdale (#32) The Waitresses (#30), The Pouges and Kirsty MacColl (#28), Britney Spears (#26) and Gabriella Cilmi (#14) joining several songs from last weeks chart, will it be a Christmas themed song that is number for the Christmas chart next week though?
