Posted July 22, 200618 yr What brilliance.. Lots of facts about them that I never knew about! and a great insight as well, it was particularly fascinating to hear that early demo of Heart Of Glass
July 22, 200618 yr Brilliant documentary - Im glad I taped it I didnt realize how good Rapture was until last night. My bedroom wall was covered in Debbie Harry posters in late 70s early 80s. My first ever concert was to see Blondie in 1980 . Its a shame the music went a bit naff towards the end in 1982 due to the drugs but they came back with Maria, a classic Blondie record in 1999.
July 22, 200618 yr I saw it last nite it was a brilliant documentary. Most of their history I already knew, but it was great to see how Debbie looked in her younger days, used to have a huge crush on her, considering she's aged a bit now. Had loads of posters on my bedroom wall of her and the group along with Kim Wilde, ithe 70s & 80s. My 2 favourite pop icons of the era Debbie Harry and Kim Wilde.
July 22, 200618 yr I made sure I got home from the pub to watch it. It was excellent, although the documentary glossed over the 15years that the band was not in existence & Deborah Harry's erratic solo career in about 15 seconds.
