If you won over say £5million on the lottery would it change you as a person, be honest now.

 

How would you think your current friends would treat you.

 

Would you spend it, save it or give it away?

 

Would it make any difference if the win was less say only £1million.

I think that my friends would try to get things off me :lol:

 

If I won £5 million, id be off to NYC and to the hot shops and stuff to buy cool shiz, buy some shakira tickets, treat my mates and family to stuff and give substanial amounts to animal charities

I'd buy sooo many clothes and buy stuff for my mother and nana and father but that's all, I'd save most of it :P

I'm not interested in fast cars or a huge house, but it would be nice for myself and my family to be comfortable and for me to have the time to do the things I would like to do, instead of what I have to do. So I would definately give up paid work, definately do more voluntary work. And would give a substantial amount to charities I support, however much I won, in fact anything over £1 million would all go straight to charity. Can't think anyone could possibly need more than £1 million anyway :blink:

I would carry on working and carry on living in the same house

 

I am a hopefully permanantly single guy who lives on his own, quite why I would want to swap what I have now (a semi detached town house in a relatively nice area) for an 10 bedroom mansion set in 50 acres of land when its just me there is beyond comprehension, I would stay where I am

 

I would also carry on working, without work keeping me going I would probably be dead within 6 months as I know I would likely spend my days pigging out on junk food or something with nothing else to do

 

My only purchases would be a powerful sports car, an executive box at Spurs, an upgraded home cinema

 

With 5m I would give £1m to family, 2m to some animal charities, spend maybe £250,000 on the stuff above and put the rest in the bank

I would pay off my parents morgatage. I could pay to have my scleosis operation done privately. I would by a house/flat for my sister and one for myself. I would deffinitly give some to charity. I would carry on at college and pay to put my self through uni. I would quit tesco and if i ever needed to work I would work for free in like charity shops. My friends would probably be all wierd. That is if i let them know about it.

I'd try hard not to let it change me. I wouldn't move house, not permanently anyway (maybe a house somewhere sunny for holidays), I'd stay at 6th form and probably spend quite a bit of money on my friends. I wouldn't want the money to change my social life, if I kept the same friends, neighbours, school etc. I don't think it could change me in any way. I might even keep my Saturday job! :o

 

Obviously, some friends are bound to take advantage but I think I would know who are friends for me and who are friends for my money. -_-
