I was actually going to write that originally but didn't want to seem like I was complaining about everything. Haha. I definitely agree though (and I don't tend to go back to the lower quality songs).

Not only do I have to have the tags correct but I cannot stand having mp3s at a 128 bitrate. I have to find them at a higher rate just to probably delete most of them a week later. I am such a bitrate snob.

:lol: It's all about 320 kbps mp3 files. It's like listening to music in HD. ^_^ Also agree with Chris/Pavel that the quality, or at least volume levels of 128 kbps mp3s are too low.

320 is great, but FLAC is like listening to music in HD.

I'd like to say after the amount of time and attempts it took to get the bloody thing to upload I'd have been quite happy if everyone's entry was in 128kbps and under 3 minutes long! :D

I don't really understand the love for Fenech Soler. Pretty unremarkable to be honest, when I saw them I ended up drinking whiskey in the corner and looking at Twitter on my phone.

 

I haven't found anything I loved instantly yet (In The Fall) but there doesn't seem to be as many lows this time.

and i agree on the bitrate / tags thing. except that i never upload the mp3 myself LOL so as far as i know my tags could be terribly off. OH NO OH GOD.

 

but my itunes is so anally organized. everything has to be perfect. names / album artwork / bitrate / year / i even have a program that automatically that makes sure words like and / the / in aren't capitalized. IT'S PERFECTION. i also go on a torrent site that only uploads things with a minimum of 192 kbps which is nice.

 

also, FLAC is nice but i honestly can't tell the difference between that and V0 most of the time. and FLAC takes up way too much space and i don't feel like downloading the programz for it.

Eh, I've just had my Waffles account for two or so more years so my ratio is all set / I have a bunch of free leeches and stuff. I just use it out of convenience. yeah i joined both around the same time so i was just drawn far more to what, if i was on waffles first and had the amazing ratio i have on what theres no way i'd change.
