LUKUZZ TOP 75 SINGLES OF 2010

 

So I've actually managed a whole year of making a Top 40 chart (Although I probably only posted it about half of the year as I forgot alot)

 

Anyways based on my own points system this is my Top 75 songs of 2010.

 

There was a few suprises along the way for me.

 

So here goes, Comments Appreciated!

75. Boyzone - Gave It All Away [161 points]

 

 

Chart Run: (39-34-32-36-30-12-8-7-14-25-37) [11 Weeks]

 

Boyzone's only entry in my chart this year, I really liked this song when it came out and it was a lovely tribute to the late Stephan Gately.

 

 

 

74. Take That - The Flood [162 points]

 

 

Chart Run: (38-29-14-10-19-30-23-23-28-35) [10 Weeks] - Currently still in Chart.

 

Just like Boyzone this is Take That's only entry this year, considering I really dislike Robbie I didn't think I would like this song but it grew on me..

 

 

 

73. David Guetta - Who's That Chick (feat. Rihanna) [162 points]

 

 

Chart Run: (28-27-19-8-7-16-22) [7 Weeks] - Currently still in Chart

 

DG's only entry in my Top 75, although 'Gettin Over You' was close, I do like this song alot but its not the best. (Plenty of Rihanna left to come)

72. IYAZ - Replay [163 points]

Really loved this song as soon as I heard it, rather addictive, but I think I got bored of it easily as it fell quite fast. His other songs have yet to match this though for me personally, although 'Solo' did chart somewhere in my Top 40.

I'd never heard of Trey before 2010 tbh so this song caught me by suprise, I actually really like this song! Shame it never did anything over here officially.

70. Drake - Find Your Love [196 points]

This was another unexpected song for me, I'd barely heard of Drake but I heard this and really grew to like it..

 

 

 

69. Jason DeRulo - Ridin' Solo [196 points]

I love this song and Jason DeRulo was a great artist in 2010 imo, tbh I thought this would be higher but it was only in my top 40 for 9 weeks :huh: Anyways there is two more Jason songs coming later..

 

 

 

68. The Script - For The First Time [200 points]

Another great song, which again I thought would be a tad higher as I still really like listening to this song..

A very catchy song from Taio, his only entry in this countdown.

 

 

 

66. Marina & The Diamonds - I Am Not A Robot [208 points]

Really love this Marina song, wasn't all that fussed on 'Hollywood' but loved them after this, although it got a high peak it seemed to fall fast (don't know why)

 

 

 

65. McFly - Party Girl [209 points]

Well I never expected to like another McFly song again but I really grew to love this, and there new album is actually rather good.. :o

Cover of Nickelback song, its not that great but it was new Shayne so it got quite a high peak

I absolutley love this song so I'm suprised it didn't peak higher on mine, I must have liked alot of other songs at the time.

An amazing Rihanna song, would probably be alot higher overall but I started charting this as it was supposed to be released and then 'Only Girl' appeared, still it managed to get to #1

 

60. Jason DeRulo - What If [236 points]

Really love this song, very nice ballady track, one more to come from Jason

Was nice to have a new Xmas song which I really enjoy, peaked at #1 and still in my chart atm

This song is properly amazing and would probs be even higher on this list if it were released in the UK, still I decided to chart it anyways and it spent 2 weeks at #1

So Duffy's long awaited comeback single, definitely not my fave ever song of hers but I do really like it, currently still in my top 40 too

Had quite a weird chart run but eventually peaked at #2 and its a great song!

I do really like this song but I'm surprised that its this high considering it only peaked at #7

Rihanna's 2nd single from the 'Loud' era already been to #1 on my chart but still currently in my top 3 so will probably see it in next years countdown too, love it!

I absolutely love this song, Selena's best ever imo. Shame it never got a proper release and promo in the UK, it probably would have peaked at #1 on my chart if I'd have heard it more..

A great collab from two very sexy artists, great song, and a top 3 peak on my chart.

I've really like this SS era even though they seem to be flopping with it, still this peaked at #5 on my chart. One more Scissors song to come later..

 

42. Timbaland - If We Ever Meet Again (feat. Katy Perry) [310 points]

The only Timbaland song worth listening to off Shock Value 2 imo. Katy makes the song.

 

41. Glee Cast - Don't Stop Believin' [310 points]

I am a HUGE fan of Glee so this was bound to do well (although I prefer so many others of theirs) lots of theres did chart but had short chart runs, although there is still one more Glee song to come..

No one cares, but I shall carry on regardless :lol:

 

40. Cheryl Cole - Promise This [314 points]

I really like this Cheryl song but I didn't think it was deserving of the #1 spot, I much prefer 'The Flood' personally.

A great song and did rather well peaking at #2, her next single is amazing though!

One of my fave songs of the year, don't know how it missed the #1 spot coz I love it!

 

37. Nicole Scherzinger - Poison [316 points]

Never thought I'd see the day that Nicole released a successful solo single, but I love this song, and it peaked at #1!

 

36. The Wanted - Heart Vacancy [318 points]

One of my fave artists of the last year, I love this song and it peaked at #1, They still have one more to come though..

Great Alex song, took a while to eventually click and peak at #2

One of my best ever Xtina songs, its just amazing, would have easily been a #1 peak if there had been promo and stuff.

A great Nelly song, just really catchy and one to sing along too, surprised that it only peaked at #7 on my chart.

The last song from GCC before they split, I really liked this band alot and 'Echo' did brilliantly on my chart. Such a shame :(
