Interesting figures. :)
January 3, 201114 yr I don't see the point in excluding xfactor/charity sales, they sold what they sold and contributed to the weeks charts.
January 3, 201114 yr Author I don't see the point in excluding xfactor/charity sales, they sold what they sold and contributed to the weeks charts. I agree - but if I hadn't recalculated it without them, I just *know* someone here would have asked the question... :)
January 3, 201114 yr Does 'Xmas rush' only count the week in the run-up to Xmas (i.e. Progress' last week at #1)?
January 3, 201114 yr Author Does 'Xmas rush' only count the week in the run-up to Xmas (i.e. Progress' last week at #1)? I defined it as beginning from early November, when the week-on-week sales totals really start to climb.
January 3, 201114 yr you have to have the totals without HH and the xfactor winner.the singles sell so much because its xmas week AND they are the xfactor winner.do you really think biffy had any chance of selling 400k copies of many of horro when he originally released it last january?

Technically, they've sold over 1m of it between themselves and Matt C. Biffy's version fell just short of the T100 in the end - ~107th on around 196-197k.
