Westlife have confirmed that this will be their new single, Beautiful tonight, from thier album Gravity.

In the interview they seem to be sick of the way syco has them in a 1 single off album rutt, which hopefully

this single should help them out of.

 

 

I personally really like the song, westlife or not, i hope it goes top 20.

give it a listen, you might acutally like it.

Gave it a listen. Truly awful. Plink plonk backing track, strained vocals, humdrum melody and no hook. Super.

 

It sounds cheap, have they never heard of strings?

I reckon this will be their first single to miss the top ten seeing as their last single (brand new and previously unavailable) only just scraped in at number 10, unless its a really slow week for sales.

It might be lucky and scrape top 10, but i also think this will be their first offical single to miss the top 10, so i will say top 15.

This could be their first single release that won't reach the top 10 :o

its not bad, but since Safe can only make number 10 with an XF performance and a new track- one thats already available, probably won't do that much better- so their first release to miss the top 10 I predict

im sick of westlife . They dont Write $h!t and only 2 ever sings solo parts . The other 2 just stand there . Harmonies my ass they do f*** all

It was supposed to be, but this was confirmed to be the new single by the lads themselves in an interview.

The title says 'Predict', not 'Do you like this song?'

Nice to know so many people commented without even listening.

 

It's by far a much better song than Safe. It's hard to tell how it will do though, the fanbase certianly like it (it came 2nd in the official poll behind 'I Will Reach You') so that should garantee them top 20 IMO. Whether it will or won't make top 10 is going to come completely down to radio airplay though. It's a more radio friendly song than Safe, but with Safe not doing well it could potentionally put radio off supporting them. However, Radio 2 have played this twice already when the album was released.

 

It'll be ashame if this is the song to end their top 10 streak when it's a billion times better than that of 'Home', 'Mandy', 'When You Tell Me You Love Me' etc.

 

I'm going to predict #8 (UK) with the assumption that they will get fairly good radio backing and they will bulk their tv promo to the first two weeks of the songs release. #6 in Ireland.
