I love B.o.B, so I really hope we get his version, as yes, Devlin's singles have only been good due to the featured artists. Maybe the B.o.B feature could help 'Price Tag' in America

Maybe his parents were too lazy to come up with a good name so just gave him a letter :drama:

I didn't realise Jessie was being launched in the US so soon!

Indeed, how tragic :( Happy birthday by the way!

Thanks Martin. R.e. Patrick Wolf, maybe the fact that I only just got round to hearing it this week  On Radio 1 no less whilst I was eating my dinner in the kitchen! Yasmin continues to prove that she was your best BJSC entry EVER!

Try this... Yasmin / Finish Line

Not a patch on "On Your Own" though, it might grow on me in time

Not a patch on "On Your Own" though, it might grow on me in time

Quite good, not amazing though...

Hi Richard, returning the favour. ^_^

1. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (1) (CR-8-3-2-3-5-3-1-2-2-2-1-1)

Well, I'm almost over this song. I said about as much when I first heard the track. For me, 'Only Girl' is far superior but that's because the style of track appeals to me more. In fact, hearing "oh na na" does start to grate slightly after you've seen the video for the 100th time in a day. :( "oh na na" - NU "new yoooorrrrkkk". :drama:

2. Nero - Me & You (6) (CR-6-2)

Now this is excellent. Great to see 'Me & You' doing well in your chart. I can see this doing well for me in the long run. Will be interesting to see what future Nero releases are like but I'll enjoy this track for the time being.

4. Diddy-Dirty Money feat Skylar Grey - Coming Home (3) (CR-6-3-3-4)

It's all about Skylar Grey. Proof that US rap songs can be really good with a decent melody and chorus. Rather than just noise and OTT rapping that makes no impact on me whatsoever.

6. Yasmin - On My Own (14) (CR-15-OUT-20-14-6)

Seems like Yasmin has made a massive impact in general on Buzzjack. When I first heard 'On My Own' I thought it was good, but not in the way posters on here were raving about. It has grown on me more as that tends to happen with songs - the more you hear them, the better they become.

7. Adele - Rolling In The Deep (10) (CR-20-13-10-7)

 Love this song so much. I really hope this gives Adele a massive hit, not just in the UK but in as many countries as possible.

9. Taio Cruz feat Kylie Minogue - Higher (9) (CR-19-9-9)

Well, my opinion on this track hasn't changed since last weekend. Still think it's average compared to the ace 'Dynamite' that preceeded this. It's good enough to enter my top 40 but it'll definitely not go top 10.

10. Take That - The Flood (4) (CR-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-4-3-4-4-10) Longest Runner

Still top 20 in my chart, one of those songs that just doesn't get boring. Considering the type of chart run 'The Flood' has had, Take That will need to do some serious promoting of whatever they choose as single #2 if they want at least another top 10 hit.

13. Avril Lavigne - What The Hell (NEW) (CR-13)

I get the impression Avril's record company will push back the release of this. Only because it's supposed to be getting released next Sunday but there's been nothing on the music channels in the form of a music video to make people aware Avril is releasing a new song. I do like 'What The Hell', it's exactly the type of track Avril excels at. Like 'Girlfriend' only without the novelty element so it's more like an uptempo 'Complicated'.

16. Patrick Wolf - Time Of My Life (NEW) (CR-16)

Ooh, great to see Patrick Wolf' entering your top 20. Has Patrick Wolf had many hits in your top 20 before?

Hey Rich!

1. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (1) (CR-8-3-2-3-5-3-1-2-2-2-1-1)

5. Keri Hilson feat Nelly - Lose Control (Let Me Down) (5) (CR-15-5-5) - Quite good chart run even though this isn't a single.

9. Taio Cruz feat Kylie Minogue - Higher (9) (CR-19-9-9)

19. Nicki Minaj feat Rihanna - Fly (NEW) (CR-19) - Started to play this song since it is the new single, though I kind of find this song boring, hopefully it will grow on me!

Albums

1. Rihanna - Loud (5) (1-2-2-3-4-3-5-5-1)

4. Ke$ha - Cannibal (1) (CR-2-1-4)

9. Keri Hilson - No Boys Allowed (6) (CR-7-6-9) - Another amazing album!

10. Tinie Tempah - Disc-Overy (9) (CR-2-2-7-12-15-OUT-9-10)

13. Jessica Mauboy - Get 'Em Girls (8) (CR-8-13) - Amazing Album!

14. Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans (14) (CR-9-8-15-15-19-20-OUT-12-11-14-14)

15. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream (12) (CR-2-1-1-2-3-7-10-10-11-12-19-20-17-20-17-19-OUT-19-19-12-15)

19. Cee Lo Green - The Lady Killer (Re-entry) (CR-14-OUT-19)

Once again quite a good chart you have here!

Rich, here's what I like:

2. Nero - Me & You (6) (CR-6-2)

3. Tove Styrke - White Light Moment (2) (CR-3-2-3-2-3-1-1-1-2-3)

6. Yasmin - On My Own (14) (CR-15-OUT-20-14-6)

7. Adele - Rolling In The Deep (10) (CR-20-13-10-7)

9. Taio Cruz feat Kylie Minogue - Higher (9) (CR-19-9-9)

10. Take That - The Flood (4) (CR-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-4-3-4-4-10) Longest Runner

13. Avril Lavigne - What The Hell (NEW) (CR-13)

17. Natasha Bedingfield - Weightless (8) (CR-10-8-17)

18. P!nk - f***in' Perfect (NEW) (CR-18)

20. Ellie Goulding - Human (NEW) (CR-20)

What's My Name? has had an incredible chart run. Wonder if Nero will be able to take it down?

I like What The Hell, but I can't help but feel it's somewhat Girlfriend Pt. 2. I've been waiting for her to mature her sound, but I'll check out the album 1st to reserve my judgement.

Great chart as always!

1. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (1) (CR-8-3-2-3-5-3-1-2-2-2-1-1)

2. Nero - Me & You (6) (CR-6-2) I haven't listened to this in full still - but the clips I've heard sound surprisingly great for the genre in hand.

7. Adele - Rolling In The Deep (10) (CR-20-13-10-7)

9. Taio Cruz feat Kylie Minogue - Higher (9) (CR-19-9-9)

10. Take That - The Flood (4) (CR-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-4-3-4-4-10) Longest Runner

12. Mohombi feat Nicole Scherzinger - Coconut Tree (NEW) (CR-12) Most cringeworthy song I've heard in 2010, I wouldn't say I like it, but it was okay enough

13. Avril Lavigne - What The Hell (NEW) (CR-13) AMUZZ COMEBACK - LOON MODE, ON.

19. Nicki Minaj feat Rihanna - Fly (NEW) (CR-19)

Not up on my fresh music recently, it would seem. I haven't heard most admittedly, but Yasmin is $hite.

Hey Rich, some comments for you :D

7. Adele - Rolling In The Deep (10) (CR-20-13-10-7) Heard this for the first time the other day, reminded me of Katie Melua's The Flood for some reason. Quite a good song nonetheless

8. Natasha Hamilton - Ms Emotional (NEW) (CR-8) A little bit plain, but better than most of Liz McClarnon's solo stuff

16. Patrick Wolf - Time Of My Life (NEW) (CR-16) Interesting :o. Never had you down as a Patrick Wolf fan!

*Eric Saade - Still Loving It I've yet to hear this, is it the new single?

*Jessie J - Do It Like A Dude I don't get her sadly, it'll be the first time since Corinne Bailey Rae that I haven't bought the album of the "Sound of..." winner. At least this weird dubstep/grime/whatever era the UK is going through is putting less strain on my bank balance :heehee:

*Lili & Susie - Keep It Black - Kom Och Ta Oss This sounded good from the video you posted. I can see why Christer didn't put it through, but there will definitely be a small number of songs in MF that shouldn't be there over this

*Martin Solveig feat Dragonette - Hello Sadly, Dragonette's most successful single is my least favourite song of theirs :( . Hopefully it'll help relaunch them in the UK though

*RXM Project feat Jenny Silver - I Believe In You Oh :o I haven't heard this, is it as good as A Place To Stay?

16. Patrick Wolf - Time Of My Life (NEW) (CR-16)

Ooh, great to see Patrick Wolf' entering your top 20. Has Patrick Wolf had many hits in your top 20 before?

Thanks Hits!

1. Each to their own, it's like how I feel about Only Girl (In The World) That's the beauty of Rihanna - she has something for all tastes!

2. It's definitely great, if this is dubstep then I'm excited for the genre now!

4. Agree, although she only sings the (amazing) intro. The girls 'Dirty Money' sing the other female choruses, it's a really brilliant song though, hope it's a hit here but I can't see it being more than a top 20 :(

6. It really is a storming grower of a song. I loved it on first listen but then got bored of it. But now I absolutely adore it, so 90's

7. It's a fantastic comeback, especially after Duffy's dire excuse for a return. The backing vocals are really unique and brilliant and she's as effortlessly great as always.

9. I thought it was average for a long time (was in my playlist for 6 or 7 weeks before charting), but then it finally started to sound great somehow  Their voices oddly compliment each others a lot - nice to see it starting to smash around Europe! Admittedly, I should have peaked Dynamite higher than #21, but I maintain that Break Your Heart was vastly overrated.

10. I'll let it slip down now as it's kept me entertained for months and if I carry on listening to it I'll probably never want to come back to it in the future, but indeed, yet another career highlight for post 2006 Take That!

16. He's never had any hits at all for me before :o I've never taken any notice of him really (perhaps criminally) but after seeing it high in yours, Ghosty's and Martin's charts I thought I should check it out and it's a string laden masterpiece!

Great chart as always!

Thanks West! Not sure yet, I'm loving Me & You right now, but also still adore What's My Name! Will be a close one this week I think!

I guess Avril will always come out with these big loud pop songs to lead the albums with now, just to get a hit to launch it with, which I think is probably a wise idea. I can't see a ballad launching an album very successfully.

Thanks Rob! Yasmin isn't $hite :( And Coconut Tree is hilareamaze  Agreed about Me & You, I'm no big fan of the genre, but this is awesome (I'm allowed to use that word in this case as it sounds like 90s computer game music :P)

Thanks Ghosty!

7. I can't see the comparison but I love it nonetheless now, a really strong comeback single - love the backing vocals!

8. I was always a massive fan of them and their bland pop and this is no different, I have a massive soft spot for Natasha's voice and I actually love the song too :o

16. To be honest, I never listened to much of his stuff. But I generally like any pop featuring strings, and I was won over by this straight away!

Not sure where the new Eric Saade song's from, it's a slower song (not exactly a ballad), sort of like Britney's Born To Make You Happy. Hmm...I do 'like' Jessie's songs but I don't love them. Corinne's debut album was amazing by the way, one of my favourites of 2006 :o And I do like quite a bit of the music from the genre to be honest, my song at #2 this week is apparently dubstep, but sounds more like a bassier 90's Sega game to me musically. I'm not sure what 'dubstep' is, it sounds no different from drum and bass to me.

Yeah, I really like Lili & Susie's song! But he's definitely against old skool MF schlager these days, in many ways I don't blame him but it won't please the hardcore older fans  I've never been that into Dragonette to be honest, I like Hello quite a lot but most of their stuff just sounds average to me, although the lead singer has a very distinctive voice. Hmm, I really like I Believe In You and think you would too, but I'm not sure that I'd put it up there with A Place To Stay, just yet anyway.

Thanks Ghosty!

07 - Yeah, it's a really strong comeback. I'm rather surprised actually considering how badly other acts second album eras have done recently!

16 - Cool :D . You might like "Hard Times" also, but a lot of his other songs are very experimental. I'm really looking forward to his next album :D

I was never all that keen on Corinne's singles tbh :( , maybe I was too young at the time to appreciate them. I have heard your #2 song, not my kind of thing sadly. I feel like a grandad with all these new artists who are doing nothing for me coming out at the moment :drama:

Yeah, MF and indeed Eurovision is very likely to move on and leave the schlager fans behind sadly. Who knows, maybe I'll start to lose interest in it :o . True Believer and I Get Around are Dragonette's best, imo, but Take It Like A Man was a very poor choice for the second single here. Just listened to the Jenny Silver song, it's pretty good, but it doesn't quite reach the climax it should. Fingers crossed her MF entry is fantastic!

Hey :)

Riri is unstoppable here :o

Yasmin top10 :D The song better be a hit in the UK or else

Coconut Tree is one of my favorite songs atm, it's just so irresistibly catchy

Do It Like A Dude and Hello growing on you?? :P

You added the 3 best album tracks from Rihanna's new album this week :D

Amazing to see Sarah Connor in your chart, glad you like it enough

Great chart!

7. Indeed, I guess she's the female Paolo Nutini, I'm sure this era will be big for her, even though the last one was huge enough (and still is with Make You Feel My Love still everywhere )

16. I'm sure I heard some of his songs a few years back and they weren't my sort of thing, so I left it ages to bother listening to this one. I don't expect I'd be into his more experimental stuff.

Shame. Although I actually preferred a fair bit of the album to the singles, although Put Your Records On did get to #1 on my singles chart, absolutely adored it  Oh dear :( I guess I'm lucky that I like these genres to an extent then - but then I do tend to like things from every genre apart from heavy metal. Have you heard Britney's new single? It's dubstep influenced apparently, but seems to owe more to early 00's Belgian trance to me  I think people just go round inventing new words for old sounds to try to 'create a movement'

Definitely, schlager success has long gone now, Carola's Invincible was the last hurrah and it's not going to get much more epic than that - the schlager queen singing an absolute anthem, yet still only managing 5th :( I don't see how anybody else is going to do any better now, five years on. It doesn't even do well in Sweden anymore! What, you'll lost interest in schlager, or Eurovision? :o I know what you mean about the Jenny Silver song, the production on it is great but it's hardly the catchiest song ever.

Great chart!

Hey Dre!

She is, I'm still absolutely in love with What's My Name  Well, she'll have a hard job, she's had no promotion here - being C-list on Radio 1 is the best she's had so far, I can't say I've ever seen the video on music channels or heard it anywhere else :(

Agreed about Coconut Tree, it's so retro but ridiculously catchy  LOVE Nicole's spoken parts too!

Well Hello definitely is, Do It Like A Dude isn't so much as growing as I go on and off it, hence keep adding it to and taking it back off my playlist every week  Can't see it ever making my top 20...

Yep! Still obsessed with Loud, although I've charted California King Bed, Fading and S&M all before, I've just got really back into the album this week so re-added them!

Sarah's song is good, but I don't like it as much as Monrose, if we're comparing female ballads from Germany here  Definitely a strong chorus though.

07 - She's got a lot to thank X Factor for, it's definitely helped keep her in the spotlight. Had Make You Feel My Love not been used so much on the show, her return to music might have been as successful as Duffy's  .

16 - Fair enough! I'm hoping he's toned down his sound for this next album, if Time Of My Life is anything to go by then the album will be great. He does however often release red herrings, like Magic Position and Vulture which were miles off what the albums sounded like.

I agree that people like to invent words to describe things. I haven't heard the new Britney song yet, I might be the only person on here who hasn't :kink: . If it sounds like early 00's Belgian trance then it sounds like it could be fantastic!

Invincible  . That should have been top 3 at least. I might lose interest in Eurovision a few years down the line. I'm all for modernism, but my main highlight of the contest is the europop anthems, if they died out... . Yeah, the Jenny Silver song could easily have had an Only Girl/Commander style massive chorus, but instead it plods along at the same pace all the way through :(

7. Oh I definitely agree there, although she still would have done better than Duffy I think, considering she was less of an acquired taste in the first place  Strange how things work out sometimes isn't it, whoever thought that Duffy would come back with a single that misses the top 40 and a #9 album, and Adele's set for a bigger era than the last!

Oh, you really should hear it, if only so you don't feel so left behind :heehee: Well it's not exactly like it, but there are definitely influences of it in there, particularly the intro and first verse backing.

I agree, I wasn't a fan of the results of the 2006 contest at all, all of the great songs flopped :/ My interest seems to be as high as ever, maybe it was at it's highest in 2009 but mainly because I actually went to MF, and the Eurovision entries were largely fantastic too - which really can't be said about last year's contest  Semi 1 was possibly one of the worst things ever to happen to ESC quality wise. I think I'll be likely to still watch it for years to come, but who can tell! If it ever goes through a rock phase, I don't think I'll remain so keen!

07 - It is strange. I thought Duffy would have done slightly better chartwise with both the single and album, shame as I quite like the single and there are a few tracks on the album which are pretty good! I'm intrigued to hear Adele's album, hopefully it won't be all filler.

I have got round to listening to it :kink: . It reminded me of an uptempo version of Unfaithful melody wise. I'm not sure what to make of it, I was definitely expecting better judging by the reaction I'd seen prior to listening.

Completely agree, Slovenia, Belgium, Monaco, Poland and Estonia all should have qualified to the final coming top 10 overall and Norway, Germany, Croatia and Sweden should all have finished higher. Last year's first semi final was beyond dire, despite my two favourites from the contest being in it. An absolute travesty that Finland were eliminated over the trash sent by Russia, Greece, Bosnia, Portugal and to a certain degree Belarus and Serbia. And they came 6th in the televoting which made it even worse :(

7. I can't say I thought much of the single or the album :( I never LOVED her before anyway, the only singles of hers I truly adored were Rockferry and Warwick Avenue. Mercy was overrated, Stepping Stone I found average and Rain On Your Parade just sounded tacky.

It reminded me of a downtempo pop/dance version of Heat's 1000 Miles melody wise  I know what you're saying, it's not the life re-defining anthem that it's being made out to be on here but there are a LOT of Britney loons on BuzzJack, whereas I've never been anything more than an occasional fan.

Yep, it was tragic, and I actually really thought that the juries would get behind Finland too :o I swear though, if it wasn't for Hera and Tom Dice, I don't know that I would have even bothered to tune in

07 - Rockferry was majestic, and Distant Dreamer is really nice but I can't say I'm that fussed on the rest of the stuff from her first album. I quite liked Rain On Your Parade, but can understand why it could be classed as tacky.

This forum is pretty bizarre for loonism, but then I can't really talk with my Eurovision obsession :kink: . I've never been a huge Britney fan either, I've liked a lot of the singles but there are very few albums tracks I care for.

I thought so too, as it was rather a cultural entry, but I guess they saw it more as a novelty entry :( . Hera closing that semi was absolutely perfect though, the reaction of the crowd before and after she performed was magnificent

7. To me Rain On Your Parade felt like a tacky rush recorded attempt to recreate Mercy, which didn't really work :( But indeed, I thought her first album was vastly overrated, style over substance, it had very nice production but I can't remember half of the tracks from memory!

True  I've only ever bought Blackout and Circus, I don't have any of her earlier albums, and pre Blackout, I'm only really a fan of Baby One More Time, Sometimes, Stronger and Everytime.

Maybe they did, although it didn't come across as novelty to me :o Yes I agree, it was so obvious that she'd come 1st or 2nd in that semi, such an uplift after all of the crap that went before it.

07 - I can see what you mean, and I agree that the production on the album was great, but almost all the tracks were totally forgettable :(

I have all of her albums, but it's only about 5 or 6 album tracks from Blackout and Circus that I rather like other than the singles. The other albums were really bland.

No, it didn't come across as novelty to me either, but I guess some people just didn't get it.
