February 11, 201114 yr Author Plan B has a song in Spanish now? LOL.... and doing reggaeton music. It's a Puerto Rican group which has been around a lot longer than the English Plan B. "Si no lo contesto" has had over 40 million views on youtube, somewhat more than "She Said" it appears. On the main youtube link it says that Plan B. are performing at the O2 arena in London...there will be disappointment if people are expecting to hear Reggaeton I suspect !

March 4, 201114 yr What's the methodology of this charts? How does it compile them? And what's the list of countries? I find 80 countries rather big, I didn't think there were that many countries with a developped and significant music industry...
March 4, 201114 yr Author Hi Hayzayy The Methodology is a pts system 30 pts for number one down to 1 pt for number 30 if there is a listing of at least 30. It is not a measure of sales but how much a song has cross border success as if each were voting in a Eurovision type method. For example a Japanese song could sell massively and miss out because it doesn't register anywhere else and thus has limited international appeal. As for the list of countries/charts there are too many to list - currently around 90 although this can vary due to availability. Around 40 of the charts are European, around 20 are Central and South American, around 20 are Asian plus Australia, New Zealand and smaller islands such as Mauritius,Tahiti and Netherland Antilles. African charts are not surprisingly difficult to come across with only 4 being found which have international tracks. Of course the methodology of some of the composite charts is questionable but presumably represent to a substantial degree the popularity of the tracks in the relevant market.
