"Glasvegas have announced the name of their Flood-produced second album.

The follow-up to the group's self-titled debut from 2008 will be called EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\, the Daily Record reports.

Guitarist Rab Allan said: "I heard the full album last night and it blew me away because I hadn't heard it for a few days.

"[Frontman] James [Allan] has been working away. James is getting a tracklisting together and that will be it finished. It is going to be called EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\."

Of playing their first gig with Swedish drummer Jonna Löfgren, the replacement for Caroline McKay who left the group last year, Rab added: "We had new admirers. The guys in the audience liked Jonna a lot. The ones with their girlfriends couldn't admit it but everybody thinks she is gorgeous.

"It was quite surprising how calm and relaxed it was considering we haven't played in a year and a half."

The band premiered new songs 'Shine Like Stars', 'Euphoria' and 'Take My Hand' at the show, as well as 'The World Is Yours', which will be available as a free download from their website on January 16."

Quite liked their debut, but always thought they were capable of more. Hopefully this will show their full potential...

It seems so. Ridiculous title, hopefully the quality of the music will make up for it.
Following the M.I.A. trend. Such a trendsetter, even if it is a $h!te trend
Maybe Glasvegas are going to go all Witch House on us with an album title like that. :P

At least her 'slashes' (?) were spelling out letters though!

Poor Glasvegas clearly didn't quite get that part. =[

Don't hold a lot of hope for this, their particular schtick wore very thin very quickly.
Quite looking forward to this, loved both the original album and the christmas one. If they can keep an equally high level with this, I'll be more than happy.
