Kasabian are releasing new single Empire on download & physical straight after first radio play tomorrow, where do u predict this will end up next week? I predict 16 first week, then eventually climbing into the top ten after, which more artists would do this as it would probably increase sales overall

Top 20. I can't help thinking this will backfire on them badly as they're hardly the type of act to climb after their first week of release.

I think there actually releasing it before its had any airplay. I think the "exclusive" first play is pencilled in for 7PM on Zane Lowe's show. I think it could work quite well actually, as it won't suffer from radio stations over-playing it as if they like it after a few listens they can go staright down to a reocrd store and buy it or just download it

Hopefully it'll maintain a steady run in the top 20 in the weeks leading up to the album release - it will presumably receive more airplay as the weeks go by.
