I wouldn't be surprised if Adele hasn't even let them use that in the song, awful.

It's unbelievable how fantastic she's been doing. Who'd have though she would be selling THIS much
That's fantastic! It's sure to be the biggest selling album of the year, either this or Born This Way. ^_^
I'm really hoping Adele outsells GaGa. She deserves it so much

Adele Breaks Another Record

She’s overtaken Take That…

Adele’s 21 album has set another sales record – it has overtaken Take That’s The Circus to become the most downloaded album of all time on Amazon.

Music manager at Amazon, Roger Greensmith, said the demand for the Someone Like You singer’s LP has been incredible. “Adele's success, particularly following her Brit Awards performance in February, has been phenomenal,” he said.

But that’s not all – the chart-topper’s debut album 19, released in 2008, is also doing big business at Amazon. “19 is also flying high in the Amazon MP3 download charts as our second most downloaded album of the year,” Greensmith revealed.

But That That shouldn’t be too upset that Adele stole their crown, as they are the only act with two albums in Amazon’s all-time top 10 – The Circus at No 2 and Progress at No 5. Kings Of Leon’s Only By The Night is at No 3, while Mumford & Sons’ Sigh No More sits at No 4. Albums by Lady GaGa, The Killers, Lily Allen, Florence And The Machine and Plan B round out the top 10.

Adele, meanwhile, continues to break records at a startling pace. As previously reported on MTV, she is the first female artist to spend 10 consecutive weeks at No 1 on the album chart. Only Dire Straits managed the same feat, with their classic release, Brothers In Arms, in 1986.

21 sold 114,476 copies this week, bringing it's total to 1,868,794 copies.
This is awesome, and so unexpected. Did anyone here expect her to blow up like this? I thought she'd come back with a moderate hit and a 200,000 selling sophomore album. It's one of the few albums that really deserve there praise too!

she's on the cover of this months rolling stone

Snippet from the interview:

On her body:

"My life is full of drama and I won't have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like…I don't like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even if I had a really good figure, I don't think I'd get my tits and ass out for no one."

On her album, 21 and the ex-boyfriend that inspired it:

"He was artistic, but not romantic. We'd just bicker over a cup of tea or the fact that my lighter wasn't working…He made me an adult and put me on the road that I'm traveling on."

On her stage fright:

"I'm scared of audiences. One show in Amsterdam I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I've thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don't like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot."

On her father:

"I never knew my dad. He has no f***in' right to talk about me."

However, Adele admits she took inspiration from her idol Beyoncé as to how to get over her anxiety by channelling Beyoncé's alter-ego Sasha Fierce and coming up with her own version.

She said: 'I was about to meet Beyoncé and I had a full-blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, "You’re amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God."

'I went out on the balcony crying hysterically, and I said, "What would Sasha Fierce do?" That’s when Sasha Carter was born.'
