August 7, 201113 yr #2 again this week, 28th week top 2, and only for amy winehouse;s untimely passing adele would have definitly been number 1 last week and this week.
August 14, 201113 yr #2 again this week, delighted she managed to overtake andkanye west and jay z and hold top 2 for the 29th week.
August 16, 201113 yr Author It seems that Mikey was wrong; she's actually #2, but only 4,600 copies behind Nero, who are #1. I can definitely see her stealing it by the end of the week. Edited August 16, 201113 yr by THEO.
August 16, 201113 yr Either way she hold top 2 for the 30th consecutive week, although i do hope she overtaqkes Nero.
August 16, 201113 yr It seems that Mikey was wrong; she's actually #2, but only 4,600 copies behind Nero, who are #1. I can definitely see her stealing it by the end of the week. Music Week contradicted themselves in their report, saying at one point Nero are #1 and at another that they're #3 with Adele back at #1... but I think it is Adele at #1.
August 22, 201113 yr Another record broken this week, 21 is the first album in UK chart history to spend its first 30 weeks on sale consecutively in the top 2. 18 weeks at #1, 12 weeks at #2.
August 28, 201113 yr Author '21''s top two run came to an end today, with it dropping to #3 in the UK albums chart - that's still 31 weeks top three though, which is a HUGE achievement! :D
August 28, 201113 yr More importantly though its sales increased this week compared to last so its overall good.
September 4, 201113 yr I only half-like 'Lovesong' from '21' ... and that's a cover. ATM I'm scouting for unreleased material from Adele. I can actually say I like every day a new song from this album.
September 4, 201113 yr Author This shall sail over the 3 million mark next week, as it's now only 22k away from it! I'm so pleased for her, and it'll all be in less than 9 months, too!
September 4, 201113 yr I think it will have another sales increase, both in the UK and the US. The singles are helping along and creating new buzz. It's all good :) .
September 7, 201113 yr Author This has now sold its 10,000,000th copy worldwide in less than 8 months! The last album to go Diamond worldwide was Lady GaGa's 'The Fame' - which needed a re-release to do so! Fantastic achievement for Adele, and she completely deserves it

September 7, 201113 yr Absolutely fantastic for her - 3 millions in UK and 10 WW. http://www.theofficialcharts.com/chart-new...on-album-sales/ I will celebrate for her with my own champagne :D I think she will get to 13 mil. by the end of December . Hey, at a push, she can get to 15 mil or more - anything is possible when it's Adele.
October 1, 201113 yr Both 'He Won't Go' and 'Don't You Remember' have been performed on the X Factor today :o
October 22, 201113 yr I wonder if there will be a 4th single then, not that she needs to sell any more copies of the album like but every song is perfection.
October 22, 201113 yr I wonder if there will be a 4th single then, not that she needs to sell any more copies of the album like but every song is perfection. Apparently Rumour Has It is getting a release in November.

November 23, 201113 yr Gone and broken yet another chart record, why not? http://www.billboard.com/#/news/drake-s-ta...005558752.story Adele's "21" rises 5-3 (113,000; up 8%), marking its 39th straight week in the top five of the chart -- its entire chart run since it debuted at No. 1. In turn, it sets a record for the most weeks an album has stayed in the top five, since its debut, in the chart's 55-year history. It surpasses Michael Jackson's "Bad," which racked 38 straight frames in the top five following its bow at No. 1 on Sept. 27, 1987. Edited November 23, 201113 yr by Bré
