Happy Burns night

You're a day late. The haggis is devoured. The whisky is drunk. :P

What is haggis like? My nephew went to Scotland (somewhere up in the highlands) a few years back. He had some for breakfast - and spread it on his toast like a pate! He said it was great - and he's really fussy about his food.

Hmmmm. Kind of muttony, spicy, oaty type flavour. I kind of like it ^_^

I don't even know what haggis looks like, I imagine it to look and

taste like sausage meat

Those pictures do it no justice! My nephew - who's only vision of it was via images such as these - decided to use his head and just try it. And he loved it!

It's banned in the US I believe. We can't export it there for some health and safety reason.

It really isn't bad. As long as you are able to forget what you're actually eating. :puke2:

I think, although not 100% sure, it's not banned in the US any longer, is haggis.....although, methinks one could make one from the recipe provided....
