January 28, 201114 yr I hope so! It's a really good song. But I dunno, I'm just getting a #2 vibe from it for some reason. It's a lot more mainstream than The Time, so I doubt it will be hated as much. But then again, will the The Time haters ever forgive the Black Eyed Peas? I still haven't forgiven them for 'My Humps'... so needless to say I probably won't be forgiving them for 'The Time' for quite a while either :D On another note, do people really think J-Lo will be #1? The woman who, aside from a fluke #1 in 2005 (with an absolutely god damn atrocious song, might I add, and probably the most annoying horn riff ever used in any song in musical history), hasn't been relevant since about 2003? Not gonna happen. If it is a hit it will be minor at best, but R1 will surely ignore it anyway (J-Lo is already on their blacklist and it's near impossible to get off that once there, plus they seem to hate Pitbull now). Her only hope is if commercial radio takes to it. Although, I suppose there's a small chance if it does really well in the US, too. But still it's definitely not going to #1. She's basically building her career up from the bottom again at this point in time. Edited January 28, 201114 yr by superbossanova
January 28, 201114 yr far east movement- rocketeer this deserves top 3 as it is much better than like a g6 even though I like "like a g6" jessie j feat. B.o.B- Price Tag This needs to go to no.1 in both the uk and us, amazing song possibly my song of the year so far wiz khalifa- Black And Yellow Heard about two months ago and liked it, hope it does well here, at least top 10 although hopefully top 5 Lady Gaga- Born This Way The album and potentially this song will decide whether she will become one of, if not the greatest female pop icons we have ever had Black Eyed Peas- Just Can't Get Enough Not their best song but it is decent and miles better than the complete rubbish that was the time, hopefully top 10 but most likely top 5 J-Lo feat. Pitbull- On The Floor Can't make my mind up on this whether it's good or not, could either do extremely well and get top 5 or flop and get in the twenties, can see it peaking between 7-15
January 28, 201114 yr I don't know why people expect such big things from the second BEP single, the fact there has been nil interest in the album or any standout tracks highlighted says it all. I dunno. It's a good song, and the thing is, people were expecting another I Gotta Feeling from them. They had a LOT to live up to, and obviously they didn't live up to the expectations, but for what it is, Just Can't Get Enough is a good song, in my opinion. I think it might go top 3. The main thing is it's a bit too "normal", compared to some of the wacky songs they've released since their comeback, such as Boom Boom Pow and The Time, so maybe it won't stand out very much when people hear it on the radio. However, I love the bit where the beat changes at the end. I hate it when that happens in songs though. Like they have an awesome bit at the end, and you just end up wishing the whole song was like that. Edited January 28, 201114 yr by Eric_Blob
