 You've been practising that wiggle ever since you first heard it ICR :P

think a few of my friends were sneakily impressed ..... or was it scared??

they didn't belive it was Robbie ..... but dj convinced them

(he had lovelight on his i-pod as well!!!!!)

Am guessing he didnt play lovelight then ICR, unless he had a version without the chatting on it

Total Flop if you ask me

I don't think people who usually like this kind of songs will listen to it and admit they like it because it's Robbie!!!!

They will just as much try not to like it as some of us try to like it AND for the same reason....it's Robbie....

Omg, I can't believe this... :o

You say that Twinkle just like I would say... Totally agree with your opinion.

Also I have one example: I think many of my friends would like Rudebox if I don't tell them it's Robbie singing. But when I tell them, they all would say that isn't that good as they thought and that Robbie have tarrible new style. Me, on the other side, trying to like it. I think I listen it over 50 times already. But, I must say that I like more Rudebox now, than the first ten times I heard it.  Just because it's Robbie, I think...

I heard it being played on radio 5 ad for another show today - I think it's catching on :yahoo:

No matter how hard I try to avoid it....I agree with you Hope...It's killing me but....I love it too..And I'm not sure if I love it because it's Robbie and any Robbie's song is pure perfection or if I love it because it's new and unusual for Robbie's style...

I have a feeling it will be HUGE. :o

The Scissor Sisters may not get to #1 that week due to it already being made available for download, well so i've heard

All the Canadians love it

What a very odd song but i like the bit leading up to the chorus. But his rapping is just awful although the lyrics are clever. The chorus makes me laugh with that bloke saying "Why are you so nasty".

I really think it will be #1 cause as the previous poster said, his worst songs always reach #1 ie. She's the one, Rock DJ, Something Stupid and Radio :puke2:

I think he will struggle with this one.

I agree Bono who ever told him he could rap should have their head examined. I wish they would have had some sort of play over of backing sounds over his rapping.

Funny thing is, I like the song and cannot get it out of my head and like you bono, the lyrics are flipping clever. Well, impressed with parts of it.

This song is just awful. I am a huge Rob fan so can't believe he actually wrote a song like this.

But after hearing a clip of second single "Lovelight" i am happy to say that it is fantastic unlike whatever Rudebox is. :puke2:

But i think of this dance album as a side project, just like the Swing album. Some will love it and some will hate it. :)

There is currently a poll going on at TRWS too and the overall mood is getting a little ... depressed.

There are many on the site who like it but even those (myself included here) think that Rudebox (the single) could be a mistake and will probably be a flop. And everyone's like "I hope I'm wrong" :(

Maybe I'm imagining things but I have the overall feeling that in general the UK public /media (sadly, not only Sun- Vicky) is currently trying to bring Rob down. :arrr: I've actually had that feeling for quite a while. Rudebox is certainly not helping, but I think things wouldn't be much different without that single.

It's good to see that some of you still have hopes that Rudebox could do well. As I said "I HOPE I'M WRONG"

I have always been totally unconvinced by Rudebox. I really don't think Robbie's 'normal' fanbase will buy it but then again, Robbie's 'normal' fanbase don't really buy singles anymore ( Sin Sin Sin anyone?).

I think the success or otherwise of Rudebox will depend on how many teenagers (probably guys) decide to download it.

I'm more concerned about what impact it will have on the sales of the new album. I reckon it might scare a lot of the Robbie likers (though not lovers) off buying the album.

What does amaze me about Rudebox is the number of Robbie fans who absolutely loved it to start off with and who are now much more lukewarm. This is not a good sign.

But hey, you never know. It could well end up at Number 1.
