February 25, 201114 yr Author Album has leaked! PMs are on their way to all who are interested, just drop me a PM if you are...
February 25, 201114 yr Author I'm very scared of A Friend In London. Hopefully it'll do as much as Babel Fish did in Norway... Other than that, I'd be on board with an Anna/Jenny/Le Freak/Lee/Justin & Kat victory, so hopefully that actually translates into a 50/50 chance of me getting a preferred entry!
February 25, 201114 yr I actually really love A Friend In London's song, it's 2nd best for me after Le Freak (better than Jenny :o). Even if it is Andreas Johnson's Sing For Me sung by a Take That tribute act. And why does it also massively remind me of this hot mess; ypcZu3CMxYA :drama:
February 25, 201114 yr 'Hot mess' referring to the still picture in this video you posted? I thought you were straight :kink:
February 25, 201114 yr No. Hot mess referring to the fact that Craig was a Big Brother winner/builder, who really shouldn't have been singing anything, let alone releasing a single! This was just the only video of it on youtube
February 25, 201114 yr Du holder mig vågen i drømmen drømmen for evigt evigt... <3 Edited February 25, 201114 yr by Pavel
February 25, 201114 yr This is a VERY strong national final! I love four of these (A Friend In London, Jenny, Le Freak and Anna) and like the other six. Even Jeffrey's song sounds a lot better in HQ. Norway's MGP was truly dire in comparison.
February 26, 201114 yr Odds anyone? A Friend In London 5/4 Le Freak 15/4 Anna Noa 4/1 Jenny Berggren 10/1 Sine Vig Kjaergaard 16/1 Stine Kinck 16/1 Christopher Brandt 20/1 Jeffrey 20/1 Kat and Justin Hopkins 20/1 Lee Hutton 33/1 Seems like a rather foregone conclusion...I don't exactly love it but I'm surprised that Black & Blue is so far down :o And surprised that Le Freak are so high up, absolutely love it but Denmark won't send pure schlager pop to ESC. Denmark only have one box to tick when choosing their entry - 'would Heart FM and Radio 2 play this if it got a UK release'. And I believe that the answer is YES to A Friend In London and the only other act I can see having a realistic shot - Anna Noa.
February 26, 201114 yr A Friend In London have won, Anna Noa second. Great final two and winner imo :D Le Freak were third. Tonight is looking very promising in vastly improving this year's contest!
February 26, 201114 yr Oh, I should probably post the song - like I said earlier, Take That meets Andreas Johnson covering Craig - At This Time Of Year in a slightly rockier form; OAk_tP950D8 Anthemic!
February 26, 201114 yr Author Denmark back to being intensely annoying with their rousing male entries then...
February 26, 201114 yr You predicted the correct top 2 Delta  Really liking A Friend In London, I can't see a win atm but I can definately see this doing very well, top 10 finish?
February 26, 201114 yr Denmark back to being intensely annoying with their rousing male entries then... Everytime you find the Danish entries annoying, I love them - and vice versa! Mini-Ronan was great too in 2009
February 27, 201114 yr Decent, but this year seems really crap. Juries have taken away the upbeat entries it seems
February 27, 201114 yr I agree with Rich on it being anthemic. Really good on first listen, straight into my top 4 :D
February 28, 201114 yr The good news: Le Freak's album is on UK iTunes! The bad news: 25 Hours A Day is really the only 'Schlager' type song (it doesn't fit in with the rest of the album at all!), the rest is just pretty uninspired disco tribute covers of songs like You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, Ma Baker and I've Got The Music In Me, like the sort of rush-release you'd expect them to churn out if they'd come 3rd in X Factor and signed with Syco. Smacks of quickly thrown together album thrown out there whilst their name's still in the media. Damn! For some reason I'd expected a 12 track Alphabeat-esque opus! Glad I held back from ordering it from CDon.com!
