He was widely accliamed as one of the greatest Rock and Blues guitarists of all time Rock guitarist Gary Moore dies The BBC has learned that Gary Moore has died The renowned rock guitarist Gary Moore has died, the BBC has learned. Mr Moore, 58, was, originally from Belfast, and was a former member of the legendary Irish group Thin Lizzy. Adam Parsons, who manages Thin Lizzy, told the BBC that Mr Moore had died in the early hours of Sunday morning. Mr Moore was originally drafted into Thin Lizzy by its singer Phil Lynott. February 6, 201114 yr Sadly a great loss, complete shock to me, Parisenne Walkways is one of his outstanding tracks. Apparently he died in his sleep. He was in fine health. RIP
February 6, 201114 yr Wow, 58 is such a young age to die. :o My eldest brother idolised Gary Moore in his teens when he learnt guitar and joined a few different bands back in the late 70s/early 80s.
