February 7, 201114 yr Shame Anna Abreu dropped straight out :( It's still growing on me! When I first heard it in fact I thought 'Ghosty might like this more than me', it seems very 80's influenced! Anyway, my comments; 01 (02) Bermudaz ~ Dreaming Of Bermuda ~ 5 [5-3-1-2-1] Well this has grown on me loads! Nice to see it get a second run at the top! 03 (12) Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir ~ Nótt ~ 3 [48-12-3] Knew it would make your top three eventually  05 (41) Stella Mwangi ~ Haba Haba ~ 2 [41-5] Major climb for this! It's so feel good and anthemic, could go down very well in ESC and give Norway yet another respectable finish. Such a shame that Sweden have an amazing national final and send an unsuitable winner to ESC, yet Norway have a much worse national final yet nearly always seem to get it right with the winner, making it look like Norway are a stronger musical force when this really isn't the case at all  12 (**) Oh Land ~ Sun Of A Gun ~ 1 [12] This is absolutely excellent, wouldn't surprise me if it won BJSC - I have no idea which poster is behind Isconia though, do you? 14 (35) Sheelah ~ The Last Time ~ 3 [40-35-14] Fantastic to see this growing on you a lot this week! 15 (**) Jenny Silver ~ Something In Your Eyes ~ 1 [15] Could be set for a very high debut on my chart indeed! 16 (**) Danny ~ In The Club ~ 1 [16] I can see why it's in the final but I'd have preferred Jenny Silver to go through with Le Kid :heehee: I prefer Swingfly's song to this actually :o 21 (**) Dilba ~ Try Again ~ 1 [21] Not surprised it came last but I really like it too! 26 (21) Killabite ~ Follow Me Home ~ 12 [44-2-8-8-9-12-15-17-18-20-21-26] I noticed this in the Swedish iTunes top 20 the other day oddly :o 41 (**) Fredrika Stahl ~ Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ~ 1 [41] Must remember to chart this too, very twee but nice to listen to 50 (**) Barbarellas ~ Body Rock ~ 1 [50] I didn't like this much sadly :( Long live B*Witched though! 58 (**) Fragma ~ Oops Sorry ~ 1 [58] Nice to see it here but it's a bit trashy for them I guess

It might be because I could only find a medium quality version of it. 01 - Great to hear :D . I'm loving it, and I hope it gets some more fans through BJSC. 03 - Indeed  . I really hope the English version of it surfaces at some point if she doesn't win the NF! 05 - It could do very well at ESC. It's got a lot of charm to it. It is such a shame Sweden nearly always pick the wrong song. As far as I can remember, they haven't picked correctly since Carola  12 - It is very good, and I was so surprised to see it come from Isconia, who I believe is Grebo? 14 - It's finally clicked  . I expect it will rise into the top 10 next week, although there is quite a lot of competition. 15 - Good to hear! I really like it, but I think they could have ended the first chorus a little better. 16 - I'm glad this made the final, it was the most contempory song of the evening, and we need more songs like this in Eurovision to convince the BBC and Britain that the contest is evolving. 21 - It's a good song, but she put no effort into the live performance. I don't think she actually sang a note  26 - It's picking up pace online now, EQ featured it last week and it's been added to iTunes in the Nordic countries I believe. It could be a hit here if they re-record the male vocals and make them more subtle. 41 - Agreed, I prefer the song after the first verse. The whole "Twinkle Twinkle" thing came across as a bit try-hard, but the song evolves into something special after the opening few lines. 50 - I can see why. They are trying to "do a GaGa", but it's quite an epic fail  . I'm sure it rips off a Justin Timberlake song too  58 - Agreed. So have I actually, would it hurt to put it on UK iTunes :drama: 1. I'm thinking it might do the best of your entries so far... 3. Same here, I'm sure it will eventually but I'd rather hear it sooner than later. 5. I know! For 2007-2010 I'd have personally picked Sarah Dawn Finer, Charlotte (what do I know, I'm as bad as the Swedes :heehee:), Alcazar and Salem Al Fakir but they should have picked Mans Zelmerlow, Sanna Nielsen, Caroline Af Ugglas and Eric Saade for their best positions. Their best chance of success in ESC always makes the top three in MF, but never wins it... 12. Wow :o I thought he'd send rock/indie all the time! 14. Good to hear, I know what you mean - I'm not sure where to start compiling my chart this week :/ I have the current top 75, Lena and Same Difference album tracks, BJSC entries, the first batch of MF entries and everything else I've downloaded and liked this week  15. I thought the same thing, it feels a bit rushed which is why I sometimes wish the 3 minute rule was abolished. Poor Jenny, she makes 99% perfect songs with a minor niggle that brings everything down a bit (like the missing bar towards the end of A Place To Stay ). 16. True, but I can't see this winning MF, and the songs that actually do win MF and represent Sweden in the ESC hardly scream contemporary smash hit usually :drama: 21. Indeed, what a shame :( Surprised to see it at #1 on Sweden's iTunes though! 41. Definitely agree, the second half of the song is far better than the first. 50. Indeed, and they look diabolical - what's with the wigs  These girls are a long line of fashion disasters aren't they

February 10, 201114 yr Author So have I actually, would it hurt to put it on UK iTunes :drama: 1. Indeed, and they look diabolical - what's with the wigs  These girls are a long line of fashion disasters aren't they  01 - I hope so. I really need to break into the top 25 soon  05 - My personal picks would be; Elin Lanto, BWO, Alcazar and Timoteij. As far as the best entries for Eurovision success, I'd agree with Mans and Sanna, but would say Alcazar and Timoteij for the last two years. 12 - Quite, so Oh Land came as a really great surprise. 14 -, Top 200 charts will be just around the corner :heehee: 15 - Haha, yeah she's like the Alexander Stenerud of MF, except he can't climax songs properly instead! She probably could have fitted a better end to the first chorus into the song though by chopping off the bizarre ending a bit. 16 - I'm fully expecting an Eric Saade victory this year, hope his song is good! 21 - That is a surprise! Are the qualifying songs not available on Swedish iTunes yet? 50 - I know! :drama: Surely they can't have believed this would kickstart their career again? Oh dear :( I can't see you missing it this time around though! 5. Forgot about Timoteij :o Yep you're right there - in a way though, I'm relieved that Alcazar weren't sent, they'd have no doubt crash and burned in 20th after easing through the semi on the back of the loon vote. 12. Yep, definitely - more of that from Isconia please, the song they sent last month was a deserved last place. 14. Maybe! Nope, I managed to cut down 139 to a top 75 this week on what I reckon will be one of the busiest of the year, so I should be able to cope in future! 15. Yes, I see what you mean  Maybe that's the effect she wanted to the chorus, I've heard pop songs with a similar structure before, seems to make it more frantic and uptempo. Funnily enough, it doesn't niggle at me as much as that missing bar from A Place To Stay  16. It would be inevitable, but the thing with MF is that the inevitable never quite happens - we said the same about Mans in 2009, Darin in 2010, and look what happened :o 21. Nope, only the four that got knocked out... 50. I hope they didn't waste too much money at this deluded attempt :( How much can they really have leftover from B*Witched!?! :drama:

I hope I can make the top 20! 05 - Alcazar could have gone either way, the song was catchy enough to be successful, but it would have depended on their vocal performance and what the viewers felt like voting for. 12 - I'm inclined to agree, but I'm all for BJSC having a variation in genres. 14 - 139! :o . I think I had 76 to cut down to my top 60, so not too bad. I'm thinking that number will probably rise this month though with Eurovision selections getting fully underway in many countries. 15 -, I don't mind the missing bar from APTS, but the end of the first chorus really bugs me :heehee: . Hopefully I'll get used to it! 16 - That is true, there usually is an unknown who comes from nowhere and steals the show  21 - Ahh, that would explain it then. If she'd made number one over Danny then I'd have been amazed  50 - I'm guessing they don't have much, but their family is quite successful so maybe they have a lot of money stored away somewhere  . A B*Witched reunion is what's needed!

I knew it would be a busy week - this week isn't shaping up to be so busy though thankfully! 15. It bugs me now that you've brought it to my attention more fully, but missing bars in any song irk me massively  50. True, I'd forgotten that Shane Lynch was their brother. Maybe they sold all their denim off and made a profit
