I wouldn't say that there's a country that sends only cheap songs but there are 2 nations who do that quite often. I'm not saying any names, they might read here and never give me points again. :lol:

But I guess you know which nations I was talking about if you followed the entry list in the past months. ;)

 

 

On the other hand, there are quite a lot of nations who keep sending very obscure songs and fail to qualify in 90% of the contests. Which I like because I vote for some of them in most editions. :D

I'd ignore both of them if they were sent to BJSC, not that they'd ever be let past Silas and friends!

 

I don't think Grenade is all that in the first place though, so it wouldn't be getting points from me anyway :lol: I seriously don't see what anybody's achieving by sending such songs to contests like these? I used to think songs that made the Radio 1 playlist were cheap enough, but seriously, Britney's worldwide #1 single/latest smash? Who's going to be first introduced to the song via an online competition? :lol:

 

Some people probably think it's about sending the song you love....and if they love Grenade or Britney then they'll just send it. Not really taking into consideration the discovery side of things.
