February 9, 201115 yr Nice if inevitable to see The Naked & Famous on there, hope it goes top 40 here, brilliant song :D
February 9, 201115 yr Why are they dropping JLS before the single version has even been released? Chase & Status already off the playlist  I thought they were big enough at Radio 1 to stay on the playlist for at least a month after release... Anyway, great to see Wonderman straight onto the B-List, that seems to be happening much more often than usual recently. Also great to see 'Young Blood' (though I actually prefer 'Punching In A Dream') and 'The Wilhelm Scream' on the playlist :D Edited February 9, 201115 yr by ★BlindFaithBray★
February 9, 201115 yr BTW, what's the significance of the blue-highlighted singles? They're moving up the playlist - I'd have thought that was fairly obvious :P Edited February 9, 201115 yr by ★BlindFaithBray★
February 9, 201115 yr BTW, what's the significance of the blue-highlighted singles? They've risen up the list.
February 9, 201115 yr I was hoping to see Parade there this week, but I think next week will be the time to start worrying!
February 9, 201115 yr I was hoping to see Parade there this week, but I think next week will be the time to start worrying! If Louder goes top 40 they'll playlist the second single, but I'm almost certain they'll ignore Louder. It's Girls Can't Catch all over again.
February 9, 201115 yr If Louder goes top 40 they'll playlist the second single, but I'm almost certain they'll ignore Louder. It's Girls Can't Catch all over again. I think they're more comparable to The Saturdays. The only thing in common with Girls Can't Catch is that they both have an ex-member of Hope. They're under the same management as The Wanted and who The Saturdays were with initially, so I reckon there's a chance they'll do well. They've not even released their first single yet and they've already landed support slots with Shakira and Alexandra Burke and, towards the end of the month, "Louder" will be used on a Rimmel London ad. It's fair to say they've been handled a bit better than Girls Can't Catch so far, they're more likeable too. My only doubt is that their vocals are very similar to The Saturdays, so I'm not sure the public will see much in them. It'll definitely go top 40 though.
February 9, 201115 yr I was hoping to see Parade there this week, but I think next week will be the time to start worrying! I am sure typical of R1 they will jump on the Parade bandwagon after Louder has become a hit and like Drake, Olly, Nicky and The Wanted they will playlist follow up singles.
February 9, 201115 yr Why are they dropping JLS before the single version has even been released? I just checked the Radio 1 website and it's still on the A List
February 9, 201115 yr I just checked the Radio 1 website and it's still on the A List I had a feeling :P EDIT: Oh, it's listed under the A-List in the first post  It's just listed again in the drop-outs section I am sure typical of R1 they will jump on the Parade bandwagon after Louder has become a hit and like Drake, Olly, Nicky and The Wanted they will playlist follow up singles. R1 playlisted all of Drake's singles  Edited February 9, 201115 yr by ★BlindFaithBray★
February 9, 201115 yr I wish Moment for life would would be on the A list now its been on the B list for ages
February 9, 201115 yr I wish Moment for life would would be on the A list now its been on the B list for ages It will probably be moved up next week judging by how well it is doing on iTunes
February 9, 201115 yr They're moving up the playlist - I'd have thought that was fairly obvious :P Only if you check it every week, which I don't.
February 9, 201115 yr this on air rule is really taking off- most of those that are rising are already in the chart :o glad for Noah and The Whale though :D Edited February 9, 201115 yr by chart wizard
February 9, 201115 yr dislike new entries + No Hurts? :( I know what you mean, though The Naked And Famous are quite good. As for Hurts, they gave up on them after Wonderful Life (I don't think Stay was ever playlisted). Sunday was Record Of The Week on R2 last week though it's a bit worrying that the video has still to premiere.
