My copy of the album arrived in the post today and as expected it's WONDERFUL. It's called Voyage and as the name suggests it really does take you on a journey, the soundscape is IMMENSE. Funny thing is I think I prefer the bonus instrumental album to the main album, it's all the same tracks with a special ending, but the density and crystalline beauty of the arrangements really shines through there. It might take a listen or two , but for me it's instantly one of the best albums of 2011.

 

One odd thing - it seems like they've been dropped by Geffen, the release is on what is presumably their own label, Skies Above. As such I can't see it making the top 40 next week but I would genuinely LOVE it to.

It was never going to make the top 40 anyway, the hype around them is zero :( My copy of the album arrived too this morning though so going to have a listen soon, looking forward to it!

I don't think it does, it's referred to as a special ending, I've just called it untitled, it's really just

a sound collage

Apparently it's the standard :o I only pre-ordered the regular version anyway and ended up with a 2 disc version!

Yep, all physical copies are 2CD though I don't think the download version has the instrumental tracks, maybe it will be made available seperately at some point. It's totally worth it :wub:

Just got the album tonight and I LOVE it. These guys are incredible.
