There is NO excuse to mime.

Pink. Grammys 2010. Glitter in the Air. 100% live. Whilst twirling around in the air. She's such an amazing singer and artist and seems to get so overlooked these days.

People prefer singers who mime like Cheryl Cole and Rihanna over people who can sing e.g. Pink, Leona Lewis, Adele, Mumford & Sons etc.

Miming doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Fair do's if you've paid a fortune for tickets it's a bit cheeky for them to mime the whole way through, but if the performance is good it doesn't matter as much.

Also, you know what your getting beforehand, for example if you go see Britney live you know it's not going to be a live show, but there's still going to be a good performance.

I agree. As long as it's a good performance, it doesn't bother me either. Britney Spears is one of my favorite performers, because she knows how to put on a show.

Not really true as the last 3 artists you mentioned are hugely successful and popular  as are the first two, its just down to personal taste isnt it. Quality music and real vocal artists still sell well, for example, right now, Adele domination.

Artists that mime really does irritate me, even if dancing, just HATE miming, it isnt real.
