Es curioso, porque el hip-hop aquí en España todavía sigue sin ser un género masivo. Sin ir más lejos, mientras que en otros países están sonando singles en esa línea como Promiscuous o Maneater, aquí se ha elegido Te busqué, tu útlimo dúo con Juanes.

 

(Sorprendida) ¿Ah sí? ¡No lo sabía!. Habíamos pensado lanzar ese tema a nivel internacional más adelante. En noviembre o diciembre grabaremos el vídeo. De todas formas me alegro de que esa canción esté sonando ya en España porque es un tema que me encanta. De hecho, me consta que en América hay muchas emisoras latinas que se mueren por ponerlo pero de momento lo que están poniendo es un cuarto single también cantado en español. Se llama No hay igual y suena un poco a reggaeton. En cualquier caso, me encanta cantar en español y eso se lo debo a Juanes. Cuando colaboré con él en el tema Fotografía me abrió muchas puertas dentro del mercado latino y ahora a veces a mí también me consideran una artista latina.

They're recording the video in November or December. Doesn't really say much more really - just that No Hay Igual is the first Spanish single and about how sometimes she is considered a Latin artist because Fotografia opened many doors for her and how she loves to sing in Spanish.

I don't see this becoming a UK/US single, surely her label would stop her, it would bomb in English speaking countries, far too MOTR for my liking.

 

That said she seems totally OBSESSED with Juanes :(

True, sensible single choice in that respect I guess. personally I find the track a little balnd and mediocre, much better on the album but great to see it be a hit all the same :cheer:

Spanish version FAR better than Spanglish version too imo. Spanglish songs never come off particularly good imo -_-
