With Cheryl releasing crappy album after album it does seem like an unending torture tbh. Get back already!

Girls Aloud will reportedly release a brand new single next month.

 

The girl group - who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year - are said to have reunited to film a video for the comeback track on Tuesday (October 2), according to The Mirror.

 

"The girls recorded tracks with their long-time collaborators Xenomania as early as May this year," a source claimed.

 

"Some of them recorded their vocals separately, so they didn't actually see each other that much during the process. Obviously, Nadine [Coyle] has been pretty estranged from the group during their time off, too.

 

"But on Tuesday, all five were together to film the video for their big return song, which is due out next month.

 

"It was the last possible opportunity they would all have to get together in time for the release, as Cheryl [Cole] has been busy rehearsing for her tour and Kimberley [Walsh]'s training schedule for Strictly has been getting more and more intense."

 

Nicola Roberts recently stated that Girls Aloud would be marking their 10th anniversary in some form in November.

 

Cheryl Cole has also hinted at possible new Girls Aloud lyrics, stating "I just wanna dance" during an interview in August.

Great news! :D I'm guessing/hoping the video will be big budget, they really need a massive video to say that they are BACK! :D

So there's gonna be a new GA single alongside Cheryl's new single?! Is that the wisest strategy?!

I'm assuming this will happen towards the end of November. I thought Cheryl's new single was to coincide with her tour?

If they are clever they will release a phyisical format for the new single, they have the fanbase who will purchase it and it will give the single a sales boost, i would love a number 1 return or even better another number 1 album. I strongly believe there is still a big market who want Girls Aloud back, i just hope they stay together now and do a Take That on it, ie comeback bigger and better than ever.

I am actually really looking forward to hearing what the new song will be like, i hope its a strong comeback.

I'd take this with a large pinch of salt but a friend of mine (who has a friend in PR at Universal) has just told me that GA are releasing an album of new material this Christmas. He was sketchy on the details as apparently his friend wasn't supposed to say anything, BUT he has no reason to make it up and he's the trustworthy type. Fingers crossed because that'd be AMAZING.
