diana has told us 2day that she is still not signed to a label and the album is out soon. whatever.

Yeah, Diana tweeted:

"I've worked so hard on this album without a record label. I've not taken the normal route so things are harder to plan and not as straight forward. I want it out there more than anyone. It will be soon."

I am glad that she is still talking about her music, I firmly believe she knows what she's doing. Maybe this revelation on The Perfect Wave's Facebook page could be start of it?

From what I've read, XO was recorded around the same time as 'My Wicked Heart' so it is likely this would've been on the re-release of SFTTCT or her 2nd album had she stayed with RCA. Of course, as we know she chose to pursue a slightly different type of music and parted ways with RCA.

 

On the topic of these leaks that we have been getting this year, Diana has confirmed that they will not be on the new album:

Diana Vickers has confirmed that none of her recently leaked tracks will make her new LP.

 

The singer is currently working on her second studio album, the follow-up to 2010's Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, and several tracks have appeared online.

 

"Getting tweets about some songs being online. No worries as these ones arn't going to be on the second album. So no suprises ruined!" Vickers tweeted.

She added: "I guess you can enjoy them anyway."

 

Songs including 'Bright Eyes', 'Colours' and 'Low' have leaked in recent months. Vickers parted ways with record label RCA last year and recently said of her new material: "It's between Kylie and Madonna, but early days.

 

"They've been my inspiration. Pop's the way forward, so I'm going to keep it very pop."

Aw, I was at least hoping 'Music To Make The Boys Cry' would be on there. :( As well as 'Boy In Paris'.

I think Music To Make Boys Cry, Kiss of a Bullet and Boy In Paris will still be on there as the former two were uploaded in full by Diana herself anyway (and she also uploaded a snippet of Boy In Paris) and she has been performing all 3 at her shows this year! :D

 

I assume she just means the likes of Colours, Low, Bright Eyes and XO won't be on there which were leaked without her knowing!
