The evergreen BJSC V 🥰

A true anomaly in BJSC history. The older contests are so wild to look back on. Even without thinking about long ago they were and therefore how old we now are 🥲

Can confirm. This I like much much better

Defo been outperformed in the 18 pt era. Only thing keeping me top 10 is longevity as it sure as shit ain’t consistency 🤣

I definitely think the 12 point system has its advantages, as proved by me still being 1st there 🤣

I think I am still served quite well by that as I tend to often send niche stuff that mops up the high points and doesn’t get many of the 1-5s (which are excluded in the 12-point system).

The 18-point system favours the more consistently liked entries across the board as you could, in theory, win with 55 lots of five points (275 points). In a 12 point system that would be 55 zeroes and nul points.

As it is ultimately contest to reward the best songs each time and not the most consistent countries.

i feel like there's a Venn diagram for this that needs to be made

like idk who my most pointed country is this year but they are consistently sending the best songs 🤷‍♂️
