This. Irreplaceable is incredible - one of the best R&B singles of 2006! Lovely. And it's so catchy, too! How can you call it dull?! Well, I guess it's all opinion, but I find it hard to believe how someone could listen to it and be bored. Although I have a HUGE weakness for these kind of female confidence type anthems - like how my fave Whitney single is It's Not Right But It's Okay :wub:

 

I can tell I'm not going to be happy with the result this year. Unless Maneater wins, it will surely be a disaster! :cry: The best song here is Crazy but I know that pigs will fly before that wins.

I don't mind his opinion on 'Irreplaceable', everyone's entitled to their opinion, but he's annoying me that he keeps telling us all that we're "$h!t" or that we're wrong and he hates our way of thinking. If he doesn't like it, then he can p*** off.

To be fair, I remember Take a Bow got voted out in Round 15 or something because it's dull, apparently, even though I think that song wasn't dull at all. I remember saying at the time, If I Were a Boy is the one that was dull (in a similar way to how Irreplaceable is, but If I Were a Boy is much worse).

 

It was so annoying aswell. Take a Bow got voted out insanely early because it's "too boring" apparently. Then Live Your Life gets voted out because there's "too much going on"? It's like whatever Rihanna does, she can't please people on here. :(

 

So basically, there are some songs by females that get hated on here because they're dull (even though I don't think Take a Bow is dull at all. So what if it's just a piano? That doesn't make it boring).

I don't think Take A Bow is boring either (Russian Roulette was though!), but it was the Glee cover of it that brought out what a good song it is. Lea Michelle's vocals don't normally do much for me, but on Take A Bow she just nailed it.

Oh yes! If you want a boring Rihanna song, listen to Russian Roulette. :puke: Te Amo and Don't Stop the Music I also found incredibly boring. :(

 

Take a Bow is such a feel-good song. :wub: I was glad when Glee did it, mainly because it got people talking about the original again for a couple of weeks too. :lol: I think it was one of the first songs they did actually! :o

 

I guess from this we can conclude that people on here don't automatically like every Rihanna song (although that's the way it should be, to be honest, just because she's come out with amazing song after amazing song, it doesn't mean she should be allowed to release a bad song and have us praise it).
