I'm stuck on what to write about myself :thinking: I have made a website for my photography, but I'm unsure what to put on the homepage/about me section :unsure: I hate writing about myself.

That's always tricky. Name, other interests as well as photography. Rough location (what you feel comfortable about telling online people). Some people in my location might put the actual county, others might simply refer to East Anglia and leave it at that.

 

How are Alfie and Marley? Have they been good medical attendants for you?

It is hard to define what influenced you to do things that is for certain. I for instance, am interested in visiting churches and photographing them. When I started, I had no idea what set me up on this course of action. Later I learned that my family on my dad's side were heavily involved in church life (great great grandfather was a Methodist minister), my aunt on the same side of the family loved visiting historical buildings. In a way, I suppose I was always destined to be interested in the subject. What really set me off was a book published 14 years ago. It originally started from visiting the 60 or so churches in that book and I have now visited nearly 300 in Norfolk, a few in Suffolk, a few cathedrals as well as a few others in different counties. I am hoping to visit the area around Peterborough in June.

i'm going to work on this, add more to it, but how does this sound so far?

 

Photography is one of my favourite hobbies. I dont have any big influences, and I will never be 'up there' with the professionals, but its something I enjoy and something that I love to share with friends & family. Coming from the North West, there is always something to capture. I use a Lumix FZ38, which is what most of the photos on this page were taken with (any taken before March 2010 were taken with old cameras which i forget the make & models). If you would like a print of any of my photos, please email me.
