March 6, 201114 yr Hard to sing live or not i still feel get outta my way should never have been a single, and i said that before it was even picked as a single and i could understand why it underperfomed. I agree the x cover wasnt great and neither was accompanying single covers but i would say the opposite for aphrpdite i have loved all the art/picture work and i think she ozzes sex appeal in them.

March 6, 201114 yr I couldn't disagree more on GOOMW. I think it's the best thing she's done since CGYOMH. If Britney had of recorded it, it would have been a number one smash (plus no danger of Brit failing to hit those high notes on her, err, live performances). I agree that all the cover images for Aphrodite are fantastic, but I don't like the two later videos. GOOMW had a great opportunity with the light technology, but it wasted it. She gets too caught up in reference boards and imagery. You see that in all the behind-the-scenes stuff. You just wanna say, love ya Kylie, now get everyone around you to take the polls out of their asses and do something fun. The lyrics to GOOMW tell a story. Why not make a simple fun video that does the same?

If briteny released get outta my way she indeed would have no problems hitting the high notes as she wouldd mime it you can be sure she would never do a live performance of it. All the lovers is a million times stronger than get outta my way, i do like get outta my way but at the same time i would class get outta my way as one of her weakest parlophone singles.
March 6, 201114 yr Indeed, the Britney joke was implicit!!! I generally commend Kylie on her live performances. I just think GOOMW is such a hard key for anyone to sing well. Certainly here in the US, the 22 million viewers who saw her do it on Dancing With The Stars didn't flock to their itunes accounts. They would've been better served with ATL, which she can perform well. Did you see this info on billboard, about her top selling US efforts? March 6, 201114 yr I agree all the lovers she does sing better live but all the lovers is also a better track that i think would have served her more success in album sales had she performed it instead of get outta my way. Its great to get those american sales, i think we will agree here on the forum we like to get as much sales infor as possible.,

I also agree on the point that aphrodite didnt cover any new ground kylie wise but in a way X did, it will be interesting to see what direction kylie takes for the next album a sim sure she will want to get the next album right for herself, i mean that in both terms of sales and her been fully happy with the album, i think kylie herself is happy with the material on aphrodite but disapointed by sales where as with x she wanst fully happy with the material but seemed happy with its sales. What i have found weird as such about the x and aphrodite era is neither have really gone down well in australia and some of the singles from both these albums have almost been the worst perfoming of her career, there is still an obvious lot of love for kylie in aussie as the album have charted highly which shows the fans are still rushing out to buy her albums on release plus her tours always do very well which again shows the interest is still there for her. I think kylie needs to line up 2 big hits for her next album and i agree again with an earlier point maybe release the album on the back of the 2nd single that way single number 2 might perform well, kylie has loyal fans who will rush out and buy her album on release regardless so having 2 singles to sell the album on release may boost its sales to those who are not her hardcore fan base. I'll try and set that up this week.
