Fleet Foxes second album 'Helplessness Blues' is due for release on May 3rd according to the band. The tracklist is unconfirmed at the moment but the lead single and title track has been out for a few weeks now.

Their first album took a long while to grow on me but I love it now. The single has really grown on me recently, definitely an album I'm very much looking forward to.

Helplessness Blues is brilliant  Probably their second best single for me after White Winter Hymnal
I love Helplessness Blues but tis true it's not an immediate tune and takes a little while to grow on you.
I really like Helplessness Blues. It's not a Mykonos - which is my most listened song in the iTunes library- but even half the quality of Mykonos is still amazing!

I was the exact same with the first album, really didn't get it when it was first out. Looking forward to this massively!

Blue Spotted Tail !!

I finally got around to buying this and 'Blue Spotted Tail' is probably my favourite thus far. Lovely.

Very good album, it won't be to anyone's taste, but I do enjoy it a LOT. And the more you listen to it, the more each song gets its own amazingness.

I got a copy of this for a quid (!) from a charity shop yesterday and bugger me did I under-rate it at the time.

Battery Kinzie

I've tried twice to revisit this album... but it's very samey, and minus the songs that made their debut so enchanting...... great artwork, pretty dire album, I think....
