Can't Speak French is criminally low. I mean, it's only above the covers and Theme to St.Trinians which is barely known!

Can't Speak French is a gem. One of their most underrated singles. Well the whole Tangled Up era was probably their best.

Most of those are in my Top 10 (I think only TLK and CSF aren't) so I totally agree. Very well summed up. GOD I LOVE THEM!

SHOCK HORROR. 22 points for Sound of the Underground sees it zoom up to #2, meaning for the first time since we started Sexy No No No is NOT Top 2!! Can it claim it back? Five songs have now soared past 100 points and there are just NINE points between #2 and #5 so anything is possible ladies and gays. No Good Advice climbs into the Top 10 where it belongs imo, but can it hold in there? Despite a very promising start, Whole Lotta History is freefalling and is now outside of the Top 10. Despite 13 new points Can't Speak French (which is very popular in the room) goes NOWHERE.

Yes, great Pop track, but by no means one of their defining moments.

I'm still insistant that 'The Show' is one of the few Girls Aloud songs that I consider overrated. I've just never gotten the fuss.

Yeah! I think it's crazy that they're not recognized enough for how structurally diverse a lot of their singles are. I mean can you really say there's been another song like Biology or Sexy! No No No?

Exactly, look at Biology - no chorus for 2 minutes. Labels would think that is crazy these days considering choruses are usually the most important part of a pop song but Girls Aloud and their label took the risk and look at what paid off. Pop classic.

The Show is another example. It breaks the mold of conventional verse - Chorus formula and threw that out of the window creating a masterpiece of a pop song that shouldn't really work but does.

Well The Promise is quite structured really, It doesnt go to the lengths that "The Show" and "Biology" do.
