March 13, 201114 yr Can't Speak French is criminally low. I mean, it's only above the covers and Theme to St.Trinians which is barely known!
March 13, 201114 yr Can't Speak French is a gem. One of their most underrated singles. Well the whole Tangled Up era was probably their best. Any more results?
March 14, 201114 yr Well the whole Tangled Up era was probably their best. This  Sexy, Call The Shots, and CSF  AMazing tour to go with it as well, Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh and Leeds
March 14, 201114 yr I'm a bit late, but just wanted to share my top10! 12 Untouchable - basically, it's their masterpiece. 10 Biology - it challanges the crafting of a pop song! 08 The Loving Kind - sad disco at it's best 07 Call The Shots - it beautifully paved the way for TLK and U. 06 Sexy! No No No… - dark, enraged and sexy pop stomper! 05 Sound of the Underground - instant classic, even MTV Europe had it on their Dancefloor Chart. 04 The Promise - this, not Mercy, is the anthem of the 60's Pop extravaganza we had a few year's back. 03 Something Kinda Ooooh - I just love driving while listening to it! 02 Can't Speak French - the bass! 01 Love Machine - I see it as a turning point in their career. Special mention to Whole Lotta History which, like Biology, challenges the construction of a Pop ballad.
March 14, 201114 yr Author I'm also surprised Can't Speak French isn't doing that well! I always thought it was a bit of a fan fave. I'm a bit late, but just wanted to share my top10! 12 Untouchable - basically, it's their masterpiece. 10 Biology - it challanges the crafting of a pop song! 08 The Loving Kind - sad disco at it's best 07 Call The Shots - it beautifully paved the way for TLK and U. 06 Sexy! Special mention to Whole Lotta History which, like Biology, challenges the construction of a Pop ballad. Most of those are in my Top 10 (I think only TLK and CSF aren't) so I totally agree. Very well summed up. GOD I LOVE THEM! More results next!

Can it claim it back? Five songs have now soared past 100 points and there are just NINE points between #2 and #5 so anything is possible ladies and gays. No Good Advice climbs into the Top 10 where it belongs imo, but can it hold in there? Despite a very promising start, Whole Lotta History is freefalling and is now outside of the Top 10. Despite 13 new points Can't Speak French (which is very popular in the room) goes NOWHERE. 22 down, 8 to go!
March 14, 201114 yr I'm waiting for The Show to drop out of the Top10. Yes, great Pop track, but by no means one of their defining moments. I'm in the mood to listen to GA all day now. A similar voting for their album tracks should be done... ( Control of The Knife  ) ...and B-Sides ( Memory of You! :o  )
March 14, 201114 yr I'm still insistant that 'The Show' is one of the few Girls Aloud songs that I consider overrated. I've just never gotten the fuss.
March 14, 201114 yr The Show  Groundbreaking in style. Never before had a girl band produced such a different and unconventional pop song.
March 15, 201114 yr The Show  Groundbreaking in style. Never before had a girl band produced such a different and unconventional pop song. Yeah! I think it's crazy that they're not recognized enough for how structurally diverse a lot of their singles are. I mean can you really say there's been another song like Biology or Sexy! No No No?
March 15, 201114 yr Yeah! I think it's crazy that they're not recognized enough for how structurally diverse a lot of their singles are. I mean can you really say there's been another song like Biology or Sexy! No No No? Exactly, look at Biology - no chorus for 2 minutes. Labels would think that is crazy these days considering choruses are usually the most important part of a pop song but Girls Aloud and their label took the risk and look at what paid off. Pop classic. The Show is another example. It breaks the mold of conventional verse - Chorus formula and threw that out of the window creating a masterpiece of a pop song that shouldn't really work but does.
March 16, 201114 yr Who is this "James." character, AND WHY HAS HE STOLEN MY NAME Yes you are the only person in the world with that name :drama:
March 17, 201114 yr Exactly, look at Biology - no chorus for 2 minutes. Pop classic. The Show is another example. It breaks the mold of conventional verse - Chorus formula and threw that out of the window creating a masterpiece of a pop song that shouldn't really work but does. The Show is structurally creative, but there are far better examples - I'm shocked you didn't mention The Promise!
March 17, 201114 yr The Show is structurally creative, but there are far better examples - I'm shocked you didn't mention The Promise! Well The Promise is quite structured really, It doesnt go to the lengths that "The Show" and "Biology" do.
