I've loved both singles so far, but the snippets sound terrible, dated and all the same. So dissapointing.

I'm loving it! Standout tracks for me are Tonight (With right promo it could smash in Europe), Oh La La, Fire, Heartbreak On Hold, Sitting On Top Of The World and What Money Can't Buy

Smash in Europe? Really? She's not even smashing in the UK right now. Get real.

I don't think Tonight would smash in Outer Mongolia, yet alone Europe! Sounds piss weak actually based on the clip, very disappointing seeing as the demo was so good!

Where is the AB, Dj smash in tonight! :( internet is back up and WOW at at all of them DR and BTW are a bit meh but others are amazing! SOTOTW IS CATCHY!
Doesn't sound too bad, but as others have said, a bit same-y. The singles, especially Elephant, are among the worst IMO.
Heartbreak on Hold should have been the first single but released last year and the ballad should have been out next ahead of the album it sounds immense.

Sorry but that would be an awful strategy. That ballad sounds nowhere near special enough to be a single.

I take it you have heard the ballad in full- :P

the ballad as the 2nd single before the album wouldn't have worked imo. Oh la la should have replaced elephant.

I like Elephant and prefer it to all her songs apart from All Night Long but ballads are always better for launching albums.

How many mainstream female pop albums in the last 3 years have been launched by a ballad?

And her last album was such a smash.

How many mainstream female pop albums in the last 3 years have been launched by a ballad?

Adele, Rebecca Ferguson, Lana del Rey, Rumer all released ballads before the album.

And none of them are anything like Alexandra.
The thing is they are all album artists rather than singles artists (well, both admittedly in Adele's case), I think Jark means the pop females like Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna etc. - none of them would launch with a ballad. It's true ballads sell albums but if a ballad is released alongside the album it doesn't necessarily equal sales, because ballads tend to do worse than uptempos as singles so the album will have less attention overall (see The Saturdays' On You Radar when My Heart Takes Over led it as the 3rd single, had it been released alongside Notorious or All Fired Up it probably would've done better than it has). So a ballad is a good single idea, but not to the launch the album, in my eyes anyway.

Not impressed with the clips at all. Liked 'Fire', 'Ooh La La' (for the sample) and 'Sitting On Top Of The World'. 'What Money Can't Buy' sounded alright because she gets to show off her voice a bit, but the song itself is very weak for the ballad of the album. She's very f***ed right about now.

Btw, loving 'Let It Go' again. Really hope airplay can pick and it can do well. Not looking great though. :(
