Put it this way I Want..

Blackpool to be relegated - Adam, no doubt leaving and i think Next season they will go down regardless.

Blackburn - They have a good team don't get me wrong, but they're not performing(Santa Cruz & Paul Robinson & Samba, will also have new chances)

Stoke - Don't get me wrong They Will survive.. i just dislike the way they play football.. i find them boring and negative.

West Ham & Aston Villa & Birmingham & West Brom are Safe Imo.

West Brom got a crucial 3 points today against Liverpool.

Horrible club. I want nothing more than for them to go down. Luckily I backed West Brom to win as soon as I knew Martin Atkinson was the ref! Talk about a referee who in ever game he refs always gives the upper hand to the home team.

I totally agree Roo, I hate it when you get referees and officials who favour one team during a whole match, spoiling any chance your team had of getting a result by giving every decision the way of the other team:

I agree. I didn't think Liverpool would win anyway, and my bet looked even safer when we played with four central defenders across the backline. All refs are inconcistent, but Martin Atkinson is the actual worst in the Premier League. Always gives everything to the home team. I remember a few seasons ago he gave Liverpool two penalties and sent Brad Friedel off (even though it wasn't a sending off). I swear Andy Carroll must have shagged his daughter or something.
I've no sympathy whatsoever with Liverpool. If you've got a referee giving everything against you and blatantly favouring the other team all I can say to that is good. Welcome to our world.

Doesn't bother me. These things often cancel themselves out. We were $h!t anyway, and West Brom deserved the win. Playing with four central defenders in your back line, and three central midfielders and a striker in your midfield is about as narrow as you can get. What bothers me is Martin Atkinson constantly does this. ALWAYS favours the home team. He's weak as a referee. Far too easily swayed by the crowd. Just look at the Chelsea-Man Utd game a few weeks ago...

Aye, if you're a Sky club. Not if your us. We had Howard Webb as ref today, enough said.

Webb's a twat aswell. Atkinson is a full on knob-end though. Definition of "home team" ref. Seriously, next time he refs, stick £10 on the home team. I remember he was the ref when it was Everton 3-3 Man Utd and Everton scored twice in injury time, and then added no extra time for the goals and blew the whistle as Everton were looking like they were going to score again.

Hodgson's a bellend. Hate this 'nice' guy image he has. He can't admit when he's wrong and it was always somebody else's fault with Liverpool. How the f*** he thought Konchesky was worth over £5m is beyond me :manson:! I think even the Forest fans don't like him...(sure RFC will confirm that tho).

He's a small-time manager. He'll probably keep West Brom up, but that's his level. If the FA ever hire him as England manager then God knows what he'll do.

Don't get me wrong. I think Hodgson is a good manager but his level is probably keeping sides in the Premier League rather than winning it. My comment was more abut how Liverpool fans think that Dalglish is some sort of god in the same way that Newcastle fans thought that Shearer was the answer to all their problems.

Dalglish IS a God compared to Hodgson though. Since Dalglish took over Liverpool were second to Arsenal in the form table (probably changed now) and we look a hell of a lot better, all with pretty much the same set of players. Steve Clarke has mobilised the defence. Hodgson took Liverpool on their worst run ever, even game he was manager I actually thought we going to lose/ be lucky to win. Granted I'm fully expecting Manchester City to beat Liverpool next Monday, but that's only because we don't have a defence, let alone one capable of stopping a team attacking with pace.

That's because like Newcastle, Liverpool fans are rather tragically stuck in the past. I really hoped they'd kept Hodgson and been taken down, not because I don't like Liverpool, just because Sky would have been gutted and seeing annoying Liverpool fans in tears would have been almost as hilarious as watching the fat Geordies at Aston Villa, crying into their replica tops and scarves.

Sky have ruined football full stop. I never thought Liverpool would go down for an instant (as Hodgson was always going to get the chop at some point), but Sky would have been gutted had they. I agree a lot of Liverpool fans are stuck in the past also, but we're still a big club. Two seasoms ago we just got beat to the title, and the old owners were absolute leeches. We need 5/6 more quality players at least before we challenge for the title again, but next year I'm v.sure we'll be top 4.

I'm just sick of Sky going on and on about how great Liverpool's fans are and how incredible Anfield is. The couple of times i've been to Anfield the fans have had their little bit sing-song to that godawful 'walk alone' rubbish while waving their scarves around before kickoff, but then during the game itself the atmosphere has been shit. And they're the same at the SoL, they don't sing unless they're a goal up and there's just no banter between their fans and ours at all, awful. Still, as annoying as they are, fair play to the ones that turn up to matches. Liverpool are right up there with United and Chelsea for having armchair "Sky TV" fans who are happy to parade around in replica shirts and kiss badges when their club wins but make absolutely no effort whatsoever to even go to a single game a season, home or away.

And tbh Roo Liverpool are more than just 5 or 6 players from winning a title imo. There has to be a certain type of player at the club as well, there's a huge difference between being simple contenders and champions and the difference is mettle. Say what you like about how poor United have been this season but they've dug in and ground out results. And as the old cliché goes, playing badly but picking up points is the hallmark of champions.

Of course the fans are like that. The clubs are not even football clubs, they're global brands. I've been to a grand total of four Liverpool games, do I consider myself a supporter, no, but a fan yes. But people like a winning team. I went to see York vs Crawley earlier, and as we sang "WHERE WERE YOU WHEN YOU WERE $h!t" :BASIL: Where were all the plastic fans when Chelsea and Man City were middle table fodder? I think the Liverpool home support can be woeful at times (but then again, pretty much every game I've been to in the Premier League/Championship is similar unless the teams are winning...), but the away support is brilliant.

I honestly don't think Liverpool are no more than 5/6 players away from a very good side, and that's not be with tinted glasses on either. It will be a gradual process of course, as there's so much shyte at the club so far. Need another CB, LB, two good wingers, central midfielder and a back-up striker imo. It will be another two seasons at least probably, but it's not like there's a club in the Premier League at the moment that are absolutely amazing.

But people like a winning team.

Anybody can support a team that wins everything, that's why United have so many plastics. It's the ability to stick with a club through thick and thin that makes a fan, and I don't mean "oh noez we haven't finished top 4 this year ;;", I mean clubs who have suffered back-to-back (Or more) relegations and been on the verge of extinction. What irks me is how many Liverpool supporters look for sympathy from people when there are a million clubs that would give anything to be of Liverpool's stature.

Where were all the plastic fans when Chelsea and Man City were middle table fodder?
Spot on about Chelsea, but I think you've been harsh on City, they were still turning in decent attendances when they were a couple of divisions below where they are now.

I can't speak for fans of any other team but Liverpool's away support has never been any more than just above average any time they've ever been to the Stadium of Light. They don't sell out their allocations, even on Saturday 3 o clocks, they stay silent until they're winning, and even then they're not exactly vociferous, and the only thing you'll hear from them is in the final 5 minutes of the match when they start with YNWA and their upside down scarves. I'm not going to say Liverpool's away support is poor as such as they're certainly an improvement over the likes of Fulham and Wigan, but for a team of their stature it isn't great and there are clubs with far better away followings. A vastly overrated set of supporters imo.
