March 25, 201114 yr I think the album sold over 500,000 first week in US? It definitely got to #1. Admittedly its bombed over here, Radio 1 just seem to have lost all interest in him following the Taylor Swift episode. Sad really, All of the Lights and Runaway could have been huge. I don't think he'll ever be as commercially successful here as he was during Late Reg / Graduation, but his US fanbase should keep him going nicely. As for Gwen, she needs to stop getting preggers :( Radio 1 A-Listed 'Power' and 'Runaway' (and 'All Of The Lights'). The public have just lost interest in him sadly. Runaway is just behind Gold Digger as his best single ever IMO, so it was an absolute injustice to see it make only #56. Power is fantastic as well, as is Monster. All Of The Lights is good as well but probably the weakest of the 4 so it's slightly annoying to see that being the biggest just because Rihanna is on it (but it's also great to finally see Kanye getting some success from this era aside from a low top 40 hit, the album looks like it's not going to revive :( Then again it could still get good longevity - 30 Seconds To Mars' This Is War did poorly at first but later re-peaked and is now coming up to a year in the top 100 so who knows?)
March 25, 201114 yr I'd like to see Green Day have a massive era, sort of King of Leon "Only By the Night" massive, maybe even an "American Idiot" style era again. "American Idiot" was a massive comeback in itself, I doubt many people expected them to have a record that sold double "Dookie"'s UK total. To do something similar again they'd have to have another complete reinvention, but I can't really see where that's gonna come from :(
March 25, 201114 yr I want Goldfrapp to make a massive comeback, yet again, I suppose they weren't big to begin with :(.
March 25, 201114 yr If you look at critics end of years for last year my beautiful dark twisted fantasy and runaway both came top
April 1, 201114 yr Blur Kelly Osbourne (where is she?) Holly Valance Dannii Minogue Gabrielle Des'ree Geri Haliwell Neneh Cherry Rachel Stevens 5ive
April 1, 201114 yr the act I really want to see comeback is Christina Aguilera, she is a massive talent with a massive voice...but its all gone wrong in recent years, so far wrong that one more flop album could really end her career. Her next single has to be a top-class worldwide smash. Not really christina aguilera can write music and has the ability to control her carear so as long as she sells around 500k an album worldwide she can still carry on making music even with just making a good amount of money she doesn't have to be a mega star to stay in the music :P
April 2, 201114 yr Holly Valance Mutya buena Anastacia Fall Out Boy Green Day Brandy Beverley Knight Freemasons Nelly Furtado Ashanti Armand van Helden Jamelia Missy Elliott etc ...
April 2, 201114 yr I'd love to see a massive comeback by Yolanda Be Cool. They're too good to be a one hit wonder! I'd also like to see a proper comeback for Kanye West, oh and whatever happened to Jason Derulo! He needs to come back. Swedish House Mafia need to make a comeback soon, they can make great songs

I'd also like to see a proper comeback for Kanye West, oh and whatever happened to Jason Derulo! He needs to come back. Swedish House Mafia need to make a comeback soon, they can make great songs  all the acts u mentioned are actually new acts, and they released songs in the past year or so, so i wouldn't call it a COMEBACK !!! a comeback is a new single or album release by a known act (not one hit wonders) at least 2 years after their last release....
April 2, 201114 yr Apart from the irreversably dead Elvis Presley KATE BUSH is pretty much the only act mentioned in this thread who is overdue an album (these reshuffled rereleases don't count). I'm happy Darren Hayes will be back soon! I think that's all. Still hope Girls Aloud will never reform for new material.
