I'm only 18 - so I didn't follow the charts back then, I only started to in 2006, I still know the majority of 90s number 1s

 

and I don't dislike anything in the list- I had to give something -2 so I gave it to a random song I don't know and I've also never heard of the artist, as It would be unfair giving it to something I like- if there was a song I genuinely didn't really like, I'd give it -2, but theres nothing -2 worthy here so I thought I'd just give it to a track I don't know

I doubt I'd be able to judge from one listen- it takes more than one listen for me to devise an opinion of a song, especially since I know and like most of the other songs

No probs...I keep forgetting I'm the oldie on here. Lol! I got into the charts in 1980 when I was 11. Used to write them down and have recordings of all the new entries from 1985-1995.

Got to admit I had to check up on a few of the '99 no.1's to remind me of how good/bad they were! Thank goodness for Youtube and Spotify!

Jimmy Nail was a popular actor in the mid-80's early 90's. He starred in "Auf Wiedershen Pet" and "Spender". "Aint no Doubt" was a fun track but he COULD actually sing! Not sure if it would make a dent on todays chart though!

I just realised I left AVH out of my votes :( Ah well, he still got through to wildcard and my votes wouldn't have helped. Great to see Eiffel 65 qualifying :D I haven't heard 'Maria' or '9PM' though and I'm not fussed on ...BOMT. Would have been nice to see Fatboy Slim in the top 4.

That ^^^ doesn't sound like the correct version. This here is the original, it doesn't sound that different, - but this is much better and that is a bit remixed.

 

 

Anyway, score update and the last time I'll be doing this for THIS GAME. Of course I won't be doing a score update in the final because you don't want spoilers there do you!

 

Cher, so far is the first person to win and lose in the same round. It's obvious which one is which. Take That have one qualifying song so far out of their three, and it sits near the bottom of the top ten. Blur & Babylon Zoo look set to go through, as do Queen, Spice Girls & Cornershop. Doop is 2nd last on 18 points.
