Will there be a next single? And if so what is it called :P

we dont know for sure yet, but i think it is going to be animal city.

It's still not confirmed yet but the general idea is that it will either be Animal City or Illegal. Apparently Illegal was confirmed about a month ago but they were just rumours. Some fans got to talk to Shakira's band in Romania at a concert and they said it will probably be Animal City. Also, on promosquad they were testing an edited version of Animal City which had been remixed slightly to make it more "radio friendly", which gives more evidence to the idea it will be Animal City. I'm personally hoping for Animal City - Illegal is just a poor mans UYC.

Though in the future sometime I have a feeling we could be seeing Dia Especial/The Day And The Time as a single.

But apparently people at her loved it on FO1, and they pressured her to record it in english for OF2, which means if the label love it that much then we may see it as a single

I want 'Animal City' as it is on the album, not that ghastly remixed version.

i love both versions of animal city, it would be an original and interesting video concept so i really want this as a single 3rd or 4th don't matter as long it is released

I think animal city will be released... i like the spanish version of the day and the time but wasn't it a single on the single version of hips don't lie thus meaning we will NOT get it.. i hope that illegal doesn't get a release because it will flop.

that she promotes it and lets hope they play it on radio

it was Dreams For Plans on the HDL B-Side, and many people thought that'd be a single.

 

I hope we get at least 1 more single off FO1, but I think that project may be finished due to being overshadowed by HDL.

 

Luciano, HDYD is one of my fav songs on OF2 as well, but I think it's way to contreversial to be released and would bomb in the U.S. Lyrically it's along the same lines as Octavo Dia and she never released that either

If she releases a ballad from OF2 it should be your embrace... even if she does insult London in it! :(

Your Embrace has so mucn more potential as a single than Illegal. I think if she released one of those two - Radio 2 would snap it up immediately.

:( I know, such a great song! Anyways, do you guys think she'll release more songs from Vol.1? She's released "La Tortura", "No" and "Día de Enero" so maybe one more single would be nice. I hope it's "La Pared".

 

From Vol.2, I hope they release "Animal City" out of those two mentioned, it's the best of both songs. I don't hate "Illegal" but I'm not sure if everybody will like it. ;)

 

I dont really, I dont know wether she's left it too long. DDE wasnt very successful in the US (although did well in some latin countries) and No only got to #11, which is quite low since it was the follow up to the record breaking LT. Although 'No' got to #1 in Spain ^_^

 

imo the 2 best songs still havent been released off FO1. The 2 songs i talk about are La Pared and Las De La Intuicion. IMO bothe of these songs would be really big wherever theyre released. If I was overseeing the whole project i would have released like this

 

1. La Tortura

2. No

3. Las De La Intuicion (dnt think2 ballads after another would work well)

4. La Pared
