TYLER'S REVIEW OF FEMME FATALE.

Ok so I have let this album soak into my pores and ear drums for a total of 125 hours, I think this is ample time to give an accurate review of the album now that I have let the STAN adrenaline run through.

Till The World Ends - 9/10

You know when I first heard this I was a bit MEH, but now after letting it soak in I have really began to love it. It's extremely addictive and the lyrics in the song are actually very classy yet very sexy/intriguing, classy Britney not trashy Britney (if you seek amy if you will). The production is nothing to intense and Britney's voice is the main tool to sell the song, something that hasn't been since well her first Greatest Hits, atleast singles wise. Great song.

Hold It Against Me - 10/10

I knew from the cheap ass demo that leaked more then 2 months ago that this was going into my Britney faves vault. The production is flawless, her voice is flawless... and it sounds more mature then her previous albums. The dub step influence is a great way to make it stand out but it wasn't overdone. BEST PART: PAWP IT LIKE A HOOD.

Inside Out - 11/10

This song is currently battling for my favorite song off the album. There is something so fresh and different about this song, or maybe it's the first song to actually pull whatever it's intentions were, off. LOVE the lyrics. The production is f***ing immense off the chain. Britney in this song seems to have taken what is currently popular in 3 different genres and mash them all up to create this. It really is just f***ing amazing. It makes me want to get back with my ex just to have break up sex. Currently my fave on the album.

I Wanna Go - 9/10

This is perhaps one of the most commercial songs on the album. It is actually screaming to be the next single, and rightfully so. The chorus isn't what makes it amazing though, actually the chorus is probably the weakest part on the song. The BRIDGE is what is so f***ing amazing "Shame on meeeeeeeehhh, to need releeeeeaaassseee!" plus the whistles. If it weren't for those two elements it probably would not be near as AMAZING. Thank God for Britney's crazy and unique vocals and Max Martin.

How I Roll - 8.5/10

"Feel the earthquake, gonna make your body shake, till the circuits about to break in the speakkkaaaaahh". This song does remind me HEAVILY of Robyn, which I have been HOPING for since she said she has been heavily influenced by Robyn. Britney's breathing in the song is really a spectacle in this song, I try to re-do the "ooh hoo hoo HAH HAH" and people think I am going into cardiac arrest. Maybe I just need more practice. I hear a lot of people saying this is a grower... but it was very instant with me.

(Drop Dead) Beautiful Ft. Sabi - 9/10

The lyrics to this song are what makes it so f***ing epic. "You must be B.I.G. because you got me hypnotized, whoever said that beauty's on the inside is a LIAR". f***ing epic. It's a very simple yet effective production. The chorus is amazing as well, it makes me want to go buy a bottle of vodka and go to the nearest gay club POSSIBLE. But most Britney songs do, tbh. The Sabi verse is a bit USELESS. "Steaming like a pot full of vegetables", second hand embarrassment taking place.

Seal It With A Kiss - 10/10

OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGG me and this song are f***ing soulmates. The lyrics describe my life. And I'm not even a whore! The "ooooh ewwwwwooohsss" really put this song over the top. This song has not been getting the proper love it deserves at all. And the dubstep breakdown? f***ING YES.

Big Fat Bass - 10/10

Props to Britney for getting the best Will.I.Am featured track since the BEP's second album! This song is f***ing IMMENSE. ANTHEM. ANTHEM. ANTHEM. I think the best part of it is that it did not sound promising at all from the clip. I ran 6 miles to this on repeat in 40 minutes on Saturday, THAT is how much this song pumps me up. Not to mention Will.I.Am's verse is actually f***ing amazing as well. SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH. Needs to be the next single (IMO), but I will also be happy with IWG being the next in line.

Trouble For Me - 8/10

This album doesn't stop. This keeps with the albums theme yet it totally switches it up in a way that keeps you interested. I LOVE the lyrics to this. And I really love Britney's voice on it as well. Even though songs like this aren't as good as the rest it gives a different vibe to the album. One of the best song on the album actually when it comes to lyrics.

Trip To Your Heart - 8.5/10

Ok, so I love 'Heaven On Earth', but does anyone feel this is a superior version of it. When the verse came on on first listen I was UNDERWHELEMED but was okay with it since I expected atleast one FILLER track that would end up growing on me at a much later point. THEN the chorus kicks in and there is something magical about it, it's not too into your face but it's so soothing and the "Boooooo--oooo-ooooo---oooom" part is really great. ONLY DISS I HAVE is the "trip to your _____, trip to your _____" bit lasts for a bit too long. I still think 'And Then We Kiss' is her best one out of these genres of mid-tempo ballads she has done (And Then We Kiss >>> Trip To Your Heart >> Heaven On Earth > Unusual You.

Gasoline - 10/10

JUST WHEN YOU THINK the best parts of the album have ended THIS comes up. A pure pop ANTHEM. Easily one of my favorite tracks on the album along with 'Inside Out, HIAM, BFB and SIWAK. It has a very 90's feel to it, but without feeling dated at ALL. The bridge is amazing, and the "YOU SET ME ON FIYAAHHH", legit makes me want to douse myself in gasoline and find a lighter. She makes it sound like so much FUN. Damn BOY, whutchu do to meh. oh oh OH OH OH OH OHHHHHHH..

Criminal - 9/10

Very Madonna IMO. It reminds me alot of 'Miles Away' off Madonna's last album which was easily one of the best tracks on it. Though this song has an edge with that flute. The chorus is enchanting. Definitely single worthy as this shows yet another cohesive dimension to the album.

OVERALL the standard version gets a solid 9.5/10. It is easily one of her best albums ever. I just can't decide if it has overtaken 'Blackout', just yet.

BONUS TRACKS SOON.

BONUS TRACKS

Up N' Down - 8/10

Another great song, but it deserves to be a bonus track instead of being on the main tracklisting. The best part " The beat just dropped and the room got sexy" and "I know you want me, like kids want candy". STRIPPER ANTHEM.

He About To Lose Me - 7/10

Another solid song, I think it is the weakest song from the entire era though. It's only saving grace is Britney's unedited vocals, and it is the only reason I have continued to listen to it when there are so many other amazing songs on the album.

Selfish - 9/10

BOOM BOOM BABAY PICK YOU UP IN MY MERCEDES, GONNA BE A LITTLE SAIIILFISH. Best bonus track. LEGIT amazing. I f***ing love this. Production matches to vibe PERFECTLY.

Don't Keep Me Waiting - 8.5/10

A good song, it is what 'Rock Boy' tried to be. I like the bridge the best, her voice matches the rock vibe so well, it almost reminds me of a more MATURE 'Do Somethin'.

Scary - 7/10

MAYBE THIS NEEDS A BIT LONGER TO GROW. Still I can tell I will probably be jamming to this later, no comparison to the regular album tracks though.

Whoever chose the tracklisting and bonus tracks did a f***ing amazing job. Though 'Selfish' is better then some of the songs on the standard, it doesn't mesh as well. TOP NOTCH JIVE. Glad you took notes.

Great review Tyler! Even though I disagree with some parts, I too think the executive producers did an amazing job choosing the songs. It's like they took notes from the mistakes they made on the Circus album/era and they corrected everything to please us fans (or at least, we fans that aren't a nutcase... Exhale everyone?).

Good review. But I actually think HIAM is the worst song on the main album. Also, I love Big Fat Bass too, but as soon as Will.I.Am's part starts, I turn it off. I think his rap is not good at all. And yes, Criminal is so Madonna and should be released because it is a simple song and makes Britney sound soft and sweet. She needs a song like that to round out the single releases and have something fresh and tell a story like Criminal does. Would be an amazing video if she puts a story concept to the video.

This album have so many single materials that I cannot describe...I just hope from now and on she chooses the right singles :(

3 - Big Fat Bass

4 - Criminal

5 - any on these ( I Wanna Go, Seal It With A Kiss, Gasoline, Selfish)

but knowing her and her company, I wouldn't be surprise if she releases just one more single before the tour starts and then let album die :(
