Let me know what you think... She is interviewed by Jonathan Ross & performs American Life, Hollywood & Don't Tell Me. 03/05/03: American Life & Hollywood are performed on CD:UK and is briefly interviewed by Cat Deeley. 09/05/03: Madonna makes her first ever in store gig appearance in the UK at HMV's oxford street store in London for 500 fans. American Life, Hollywood, Nothing Fails, X - Static Process, Mother And Father, Like A Prayer and Don't Tell Me are performed. The gig is also broadcasted on Radio One. 16/05/03: Hollywood is performed on Top Of The Pops. 27/05/03: Madonna is interviewed by Margherita Taylor for Captial FM. 20/08/03: Madonna & Missy Elliott's Gap tv ad for cord jeans hits the UK on August 20th - September 16th. In the ad they perform "Into The Hollywood Groove" (Madonna's latest single "Hollywood" and her first ever UK #1 single "Into The Groove"). Between August 22nd - September 4th customers who purchased any cord jeans got a free Madonna and Missy 2 track promotional cd with Into The Hollywood Groove & Hollywood (Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duck Mix) on it. 08/09/03: Love Profusion is used on Estee Lauder's "Beyond Paradise" fragrance ad which debuts on UK tv. April 17, 201114 yr Author Does anyone think this would be a great format for a new album chart thread including the UK promotion bits?. Personally, just posting a chart run seems kinda dull. Any views?. I have all runs ready & updated to post just I wonder if I should include the UK promotion Madonna physically did for the albums.
April 18, 201114 yr I think it's a great idea, it's really interesting to be able to read through all that stuff and it'll be even more interesting for the older albums (if you've got promo information for them).
