Last month I commented at UKmix that I was disappointed the Madonna only had 2 automatic BPI certs in 2025. In the first few weeks of 2026, Madonna has had 2 automatic certs with the BPI! Loving these Platinum certifications for the classic Madonna songs! Like a Virgin next! I predicted Into the Groove would be Platinum in March based on previous sales so it’s nice to see it get there a couple of months earlier. Would be nice if the new Madonna album can give a good boost to her catalogue and get some more certifications. I’ll have to check what looks likely to receive updates.

From X! BIG RUMOR: they say that on the 15th, during the Good Morning America program, Madonna (in a pre-recorded video) will announce the new album and start the pre-sale right away. The single drops the next day, the 16th. just 72h later.

I know it means very little, but this was at #24 on the Big Top 40 today. I think it's quite nicely sung, and she looks really good in the advert. Feels like a soft way in to the new album, though obviously Confessions #2 will not be this kind of music

Had a quick listen to all the new additions - not really anything of note but I did quite like the Kid Capri remix of 'Masterpiece'. It's not a patch on the original but I think it would be a better fit for the album. 'Auto-Tune Baby' is still fifty shades of ABYSMAL.

Not sure how long I’ll be returning to it but for now I’m quite obsessed with the song and video! Her vocal feels rich and passionate which I’m taking as a good sign for the album. Not quite used to seeing Madonna with her new teeth yet!

Her vocal sounds nice! I'm not sure I can see myself returning to this much though.
