This album was so overlooked. I picked it up at my local music zone for £1.99 this week and it's orgasmicly great  . Nearly ever track is single worthy. Very 80's influenced pop/dance and simmilar to Dannii Minogues "Neon Nights" album. What went wrong for miss Valance?

nothing went wrong for Miss Vukadinovich. she's doing abosultly brilliantly

this is DOA based on the game dead or alive. in keeping with that scary 80s bloke who spun us round at the start of the year this could be a total cheesefest! looking at the trailer i dont think it will it end up as one of the greatest 武俠 wuxia films ever  but it might end up as the greatest guilty pleasure since liking the feeling (or mr lordi on eurovision, perhaps??? for all you non janglepeople out there :yahoo:)

so how well do you think the films gonna be? a shocker, a contender for movie of the year?

on the plus side its not by Dr. Uwe Boll (or Kurt Wimmer) but Corey Yuen so the fight scenes might be alright (Even though they might miss Jet Li being there!!!). on the downside its produced by Paul W. S. Anderson who might have waved his magic all over the project  (this is taking the universal view that Paul Thomas Anderson is the only paul anderson a film fan should ever need  i actually didnt mind Resident Evil)

also on the plus side it's got Devon Aoki from debs and 2 fast, Sarah Carter (below), Jaime Pressly from torque and Earl  , and also Emma Robert's dad.

I would compare the "State of mind" album to Rachel Stevens last album "come and get it" both very underatted and miles better than albums released by our leading female pop singers of recent years. Not to give names but it just frustrates me. I didn't care for Holly's first album but her second is the sort that if Madonna or Kylie released would have been huge spwaning number 1's. I know that is unfare to say but its just what I feel. Same with Rachel Stevens. The public did not take much notice of her songs because of HER and NOT the quality of her actual songs. so sad
I agree 100% regarding Rachel's last album. The first was a monstrosity, but her second was actually brilliant, yet it did so much worse. Stupid British public.

its so bizzare how come & get it opend to brilliant reviews from everywhere. Even the indie crowd recognised it. Even Madonna and Britney like Rachel Stevens
i agree. i lovedboth artists esp rachael stevens but if your first album isnt great you know how hard it is to keep your fans

gosh, just watched the "state of mind" video for the first time in ages and I'd actually forgotten how HOT the video is!
the whole package was hot. i just think people started to lose interest when she pretty much stripped in first vid. not the best move to make IMO.

then again the first probs did better as it was not so long after s club, but by the second people might have got bored with her.

then again its good that Holly, like Tammin and Sophie Monk is making good progress in films, lets hope Rachel just stays put an not takes any more roles, she was a bit rubbish in Suzie Gold and that was a cameo!!!

havent seen her in this yet  hoping it will be in sale as the hot chick was so totally funny :yahoo: :yahoo:

I hope your not watching it to spot Rachel? If you blink *litrally* you will miss her

no i actually liked the hot chick :o :o :arrr: ,

anyway i expected her role to be the size as the one as in Suzie Gold. Some say she would even have trouble playing a convincing 'Jewish Princess' type

isnt the main female part Hanna Verboom  anyway? (thats a great name innit, should have been in austin powers)

BUMP. :o

This album is FAB.

This thread is from last year! :w00t:

I wish Holly could continue in music and make an amazing comeback. :(

I LOVE all her singles and both albums! :D

Yeah it is

But i recently purchased it for 99p. :o so a bumpage was needed

Holly made an unflattering comparison between UK & Aussie males - that helped kill her career even though the "State of Mind" single & video were great.

I'm sorry but HOW RETARTED.

funny how State of Mind, Come and get it and Neon Nights all sank the careers of everyone involved.

Kylie could have pulled it, NOT. just look at the way Body Language has underperformed.
