Yay, I'm quite happy with that - and ATCQ didn't finish last behind that rubbish GNR do Wings cover.

So, for 1992. There are loads I'd nominate for myself but they wouldn't be considered classics. So, how's about some of these? Some are maybe a bit dancy.

House of Pain - 'Jump Around' - this has to be nominated, it went on to become far more popular than it ever was when first released.

Blur - 'Popscene' - their great 'lost' single

SL2 - 'On a Ragga Tip' - still hugely popular

L7 - 'Pretend We're Dead'

Liquid - 'Sweet Harmony'

Ugly Kid Joe - 'Everything About You' - well, it was popular in its day

Future Sound of London - 'Papua New Guinea'

The Cure - 'Friday I'm in Love'

Gat Decor - 'Passion'

Suede - 'Metal Mickey'

The Lemonheads - 'Mrs Robinson / Being Around'

The Shamen - 'Ebenezer Goode'

The Prodigy - 'Out of Space'

here are some suggestions:

REM- Everybody Hurts (I know this was 1993, but I still think its more of a classic than anything else from that album)

Rage Against The Machine- Killing In The Name

Manic Street Preacers- Motorcycle Emptiness

Eric Clapton- Tears In Heaven

Nirvana- Come as You Are/In Bloom

The Prodigy- Everybody In The Place

this site is pretty useful: http://www.besteveralbums.com/index.php obviously think about the number 1s of that year too etc.

I don't have any for 92' but Chemical Brothers "Hey Boy Hey Girl" HAS to be one for 1999, I heard it on the radio this morning and remembered what a classic it was. It went to number 3 so it sadly will be missing out on my game :(
