I kinda agree about Chantelle. In the beginning of the contest I thought she was going to be a likable contestant, but nah...

 

No one ever seems to get a lower challenge score than 6 :lol: But we all know the whole score thing is sometimes pretty much bogus anyway.

Are we going to talk about Tyra smelling Adam in the next episode? :D Hopefully he's out. But srsly this show is an absolutely JOKE now. More than ever before. Now it's about relationships and f***ing as opposed to f***ing... MODELLING. A RIDICULOUS amount of time is wasted on house shit / relationship DRAMZ. I still remember cycle 3 (?) and that girl that came 3rd (?) who cheated on her boyfriend with some male model - now THAT was real DRAMZ. And they didn't milk it with the editing.

 

Ugh stupid recap week though. No one EVER enjoys recap episodes. GET RID. PLEASE.

I don't like how they praised Adam this week. I think he's the new Marvin.

Ok so I just watched the recap episode. At first I was like "yay, recap episode, they're the best, I've never been so excited in my life (not)! :)" But it was actually really really fun. There were countless times where I literally lol'd.

 

"Lenox and the bugs" having a relationship, haa! Kinda surprised Matthew and Will's kiss wasn't mentioned at all here. Also, Keith and Denzel kissing? That was no kiss! It was more like Denzel headbutting Keith's chin or something.

 

Adam has grown on me. He's like this teddy bear. His segments on how to be a model and whatever else there was, were brilliant.

I actually also enjoyed it. Romeo was far more of an asshole than I thought.

Thoughts about this episode:

 

- Apparently Will is best friends with Ralia. Missed that? Oh, we will just show him saying this 9 more times this episode.

- Yu Tsai calling Chantelle a Panda Bear is completely racist. Although I understand he's trying to be cutsie, he's comparing a black person to an animal. That's a big no-no. If Tyra wasn't cutting people left, right and center from season to season - I'd expect her to can him next year. But she needs to save face so she won't.

- Also don't get the point in Yu Tsai laying into Adam and Keith week after week when they continue to deliver pretty great photos.

- Is this seasons villain really going to be Chantelle? I remember when they used to cast actual villainous people. Chantelle's problem isn't her attitude, it's her consistency.

- Adam drinking? They built that up to be a lot worse than what it was (and how Tyra actually dealt with it). I'm sorry, but if they didn't want him to drink so much, they wouldn't supply him with alcohol. Either that or the producers would have stepped in by now. I don't want to seem like I'm saying drinking is socially acceptable... but... there are worse things he could be doing (ie. Drugs), also, it's fairly well known that reality shows supply a decent amount of alcohol to their contestants to loosen them up (Big Brother, Ru Paul's Drag Race, Real World). Perhaps Lenox and Chantelle would be a little bit more tolerable if they had a few drinks.

People call each other cute animal names ALL. THE. TIME., it's not anyone's fault Chantelle A) looks like one and B) hasn't gotten over being called names.

I really have a strong feeling that Keith is going to win this. With Will and Lennox as runners up. Shai 4th...but she hasn't had any first calls outs.

 

I'm really sick of the scoring system. I much preferred it when they just deliberated and ranked the models.

I totally agree that Will is probably gonna go right ahead and win this. And I would be happy with that because I really like him and he is a really good model. Pretty sure it 'has to' be a guy this time. Keith doesn't seem to be getting any kind of winner edit, but maybe there is actually no such thing, lol. As for Adam, well he hasn't been that strong or memorable in the modelling sense.

 

I don't like Lenox as much anymore as I did initally. I mean, I still like her, but she's always like 'oh I'm not sexy, I'm not cool, I can't dance'. Gurrl, just let it go and deliver! In pictures she is fabulous though.

 

Sad about Raelia. She really grew on me, she seemed cool. I actually expected her to go out quite early, but she proved me wrong. Wasn't always the strongest model but there were times when she really delivered.
